If you have never been to the Colorado you should check out Garden of the Gods. You will feel as though you have been transported to another world while not even leaving the town of Colorado Springs!
Pikes Peak is the tallest peak in Colorado Springs, it has amazing views at the top. Make sure to dress in layers for the trip up! The hot chocolate and donuts at the top are delicious. If you want the extra challenge, hike up to Pikes Peak by the Barr Trail.
For those looking for a challenge this is place to try! This hike is not long (less than a mile) but you increase elevation by 2,000 feet. Climb up the Incline and hike down the Barr trail and try out the local food places in Manitou Springs! Be warned, this is a great/hard workout that will make your legs super tight. You will hurt like they have never hurt before, but you feel so accomplished afterward!
The Broadmoor Seven Falls hike is know as "The Grandest Mile of Scenery in Colorado." These seven cascading falls are gorgeous with connecting trails that vary in length and difficulty. You can even zip-line across the canyons. Free shuttle provided.
The 40th Hot Air Balloon Festival will be here the same weekend as our wedding.
