What's Saratoga without horse racing? Although Labor Day weekend is the last weekend the horses run at Saratoga Race Course, you can still find horse racing at the Saratoga Casino night track where the harness racing takes place. Harness racing is a form of horse racing in which the horses race at a specific gait and pull a two-wheeled cart called a sulky, spider, or chariot occupied by a jockey. The casino also has an off-track betting parlor upstairs where you can watch races on other tracks and place wagers which is where the Father of the Bride can likely be found.
The Groom's favorite summer activity! Saratoga has many beautiful golf courses including Saratoga National Golf Course, Saratoga Spa Golf Course, Fairways of Halfmoon , Van Patten Golf Course and Saratoga Lake Golf Course. These are all public courses, however, we recommend booking tee times in advance as spaces fill up quickly during this popular time of year.
Check out Saratoga's historic downtown district with a variety of restaurants and shopping. Everything is walkable, but there is also plenty of free parking on side streets or inexpensive parking in nearby garages.

In June of 2024, Lake George was named the cleanest lake in the United States. Head upstate to enjoy one of the many public beaches, eat lunch at a waterfront restaurant, or take an afternoon cruise on the Minnie-Ha-Ha (one of Kyle & Catherine's favorite childhood memories).
Visit one of Saratoga's most popular attractions; Saratoga Automobile Museum. The museum is open for visitors from 10am to 5pm daily. Admission is $20 for adults with discounted rates for children, students, and senior citizens.
