The ceremony will be held outdoors, in a beautiful glade surrounded by trees, at the base of the mountains. Accommodations/changes will be made weather dependent.

The reception will follow at the same venue, with a variety of spaces and activities! The main event, including a catered dinner, dance floor, and music, will be set up within tents, with enclosed walls and heaters. There will also be lawn games to enjoy on the greens and access to the on-site lodge.

We like to follow the 4 C's: Casual, Cute, Chic, Comfortable. Our wedding will be taking place outdoors on the grass. Feel free to be fabulous but comfort is key!

Our wedding will primarily be an outdoor event. The average temperature in Alaska in September is 55F. While the Fall colors in the sunshine are stunning, there is always the chance of rain as well. The reception will be held within an enclosed event tent with heaters and there is also a charming, small lodge on site, but we encourage guests to dress accordingly. Everyone loves dressing up for a wedding, but your comfort is most important! Feel free to bring extra layers, blankets, hats, gloves, etc. if desired. The parking area is very close and easily accessible from the reception space if you wish to stash extra items in your car and retrieve them if needed.

Yes! We will have complete access to this lovely 9-hole, Par 3 golf course. Those who wish will be able to hit the greens from 10 AM-3 PM before heading over to the ceremony. If you don't have your own gear, clubs and golf balls will be available to rent for $5.00-$10.00.
