The Salty - Donut shop featuring Cat's all-time favorite, Horchata donut

Torchy's Tacos - An Austin-based Tex-Mex chain with tacos, elotes, queso, and margaritas (several locations around town)

Two Hands - The best brunch around, just be sure to put in a reservation or submit your name and walk SoCo while you wait

Aba - Mediterranean fare with a beautiful outdoor patio and bar. This is another high-demand spot so grab a reservation or walk while you wait

Allans Boots - An iconic boot and hat shop with high-end and authentic Texas, western wear

Trendy area with lots of outdoor eateries, beer gardens, and live music at night.
Ramen Tatsuya - One of our favorite spots for Ramen
Whisler's - A fun indoor/outdoor bar with food trucks for a quick bite in East Austin (perfect for day or evening)
Spicy Boys Fried Chicken - Eddie's second love, Pan-Asian fried chicken and sandwiches
Zilker Brewing - A local classic with food trucks outside (lots of folks like to bring their dogs too!)
La Barbecue - Central Texas BBQ with no added sugars and great sides. This is Eddie's fav Austin BBQ, but it typically has a 20-40 minute line...don't worry, it's worth it!



A lively area named for the nearby 358-acre park with ideal views of the city and Lady Bird Lake.

Boardwalk - Walking and biking trail along the whole river downtown. Eddie and Cat tend to go walking here every Sunday morning

Zilker Park - A beloved park with the city in the backdrop. A great spot for walking and biking along Lady Bird Lake, or taking a nap in the grass

Barton Springs Pool - A spring-fed pool connected to Zilker park, perfect for cooling off

Afuga - One of Cat's favorite coffee spots to grab an iced coffee and then walk along the river

Zilker Botanical Gardens - An expansive park in Zilker park with themed gardens including the Taniguchi Japanese Garden, Hartman Prehistoric Garden, and Rose Garden

A more suburburban quiet area outside of downtown that the wedding will be situated in.

Wildflower Center - The official Botanic Garden and Arboretum of Texas was started by Lady Bird Johnson and is part of the Univesity of Texas—also our wedding site

Veloway - 5K Bike and Rollerblade trail for cycling. Eddie likes working out here as it is a very smooth race surface near other mountain biking trails

District Austin - A New American cocktail and kitchen partnered with local farmers and fishermen
