Our Wedding

Every journey has a story, and some stories are longer than others.&nbsp;After a long, long search, we found each other in the magical realm of the internet.&nbsp;We both had kissed many frogs along our way, but when we finally found each other, we knew right away it was something special.&nbsp;Even though we were 6 hours apart, we decided to take the leap of faith and meet in OKC for our first “date weekend.”&nbsp;It was love at first sight&nbsp;and&nbsp;a bittersweet parting until our next visit.&nbsp;Between visits, we spent countless hours on the phone getting to know each other.&nbsp;Throughout the summer, we made long trips between Iowa and Oklahoma several times until we decided it was meant to be and that&nbsp;we should reside under one roof.&nbsp;One hundred twenty-three days after our first date, we made a “date” to go to the Omaha Zoo, and Shane proposed to Cat.&nbsp;We are looking forward to our special day and our happily ever after.

Our wedding will be located in Huntington Beach on the beach between Lifeguard tower 5 and 7 at 6pm.Shoes are optional for the wedding since we will be out on the sand however you will need shoes for the reception following the wedding at Dukes restaurant.Spring weather at the beach can be unpredictable so please plan accordingly and watch the weather reports :)In the event of inclement weather we will move the wedding inside of Dukes

If you are driving in you can navigate to the corner of PCH and Huntington Street. The two closest entry points are Huntington Street or 1st Street. We suggest parking to the south of Kokomo's Surfside Grill. You can either park at a meter on PCH or come into the lot.
