We met in early March 2020 in Satellite Image Analysis after both transferring to George Mason University as Geography majors. Failing to get each other’s contact information, graduation dates, or even last names before being sent off campus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was unclear if we would cross paths again.

Fast forward to August 2020; We end up in the same Geography Capstone class and find ourselves sitting next to each other. This particular course had a group project requirement, so we decided to work together. We found that we made a great team, and forged an unspoken agreement to collaborate on all group projects moving forward.

Our academic partnership turned into a genuine friendship, which blossomed into romance shortly following our college graduation in May 2021.

4 years, 6 zip codes, 3 apartments, and 1 cat (Jeff) later, we have decided that we’re finally ready to tie the knot! We are so excited to celebrate our love with our family and friends in June 2026!
