If you know about us at all, then you know that a certain German automaker is an essential part of how our love story began.

In summer of 2019, Cece was at school at UNCW in Wilmington, NC, pursuing a degree in Computer Science with dreams of working in the Automotive industry. Stockton was in school at Wake Tech in Raleigh, NC, pursuing a degree in Automotive Technology with dreams of working for BMW.

We both were driving ‘E90’ chassis BMWs at the time (late 2000s 3 series), both black, and both…questionably modified.

It was a late summer evening in Wilmington NC, when I (Cece) got a call from a friend to meet up.

A few minutes later, I arrive to see a few BMWs parked and a few young men standing around them. One fellow in particular catches my eye, a cute, curly-haired brunette with a great smile. Bonus points for his BMW Motorsport hat.

The two of us spent the rest of the night chatting about BMWs, our cars, and our goals. Then, we decided to have some pizza to end the night. Still talking up a storm as we enter the line to order, discussing BMW nuances between topping choices.

6 years on and we still own those same two cars we had the day we met, going as far as to replace the engine of my car together through the winter of 2024.

BMW brought us together, but our love for one another is something that formed because of who we are, and it grows stronger each and every day.
