We love the Appalachian Mountains so much we knew we had to get married here! Obviously that means we want our guests to see the area and fall in love with it as well, here are some great things to do and places to grab a bite while you are in town.
Moses H. Cone Memorial Park
Visit this gorgeous park where we got engaged! Ride horses, take a walk around the lake, or hike to the Apple Barn!
Valle Crucis
Visit our favorite town in the High Country. Eat & get delicious Coffee at Pearl's Kitchen, cool off with Dutch Creek Ice Cream, walk around Valle Crucis Park, Shop at the Original Mast General Store, and take in the beauty of the Valle.
Downtown Boone
Visit the bustling college town of Boone! Grab a bite at The Local, visit Dancing Moon Bookstore, thrift some new threads at Anna Bananas, and visit Stockton's favorite local board shop Recess.
Blowing Rock
This charming town is straight out of a movie! Get yourself amazing candles from High Country Candles, Have a delicious meal at The Speckled Trout, get coffee and ice cream at Blue Deer on Main. Shop at all of the amazing boutiques and gift shops along Main St and then hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway for stunning views of the landscape.
