Once upon a time, in a bustling military base located in North Carolina, there were two individuals named Chad and Erica. They were assigned to the same crew for work and were part of a team consisting of two airmen(them) and a Sergeant. As they began working together, a strong bond formed between Chad and Erica, and they soon became the best of friends.

Their camaraderie and friendship were evident to everyone around them. People often made comments about how close they were and how well they worked together. One day, Erica shared with the crew that she was getting a second puppy. Hearing this, Chad expressed his desire to have a puppy as well but couldn’t because of his apartments restrictions. However, he mentioned that he would get one once he moved.

Erica, being the kind-hearted person she was, offered to house Chads puppy until he found a suitable place to live. This act of kindness brought them even closer as they spent time together getting ready to take care of the puppies. Little did they know, their time together would lead to something more.

Chad gladly accepted the invitation, despite his strict “no dating coworkers” rule, and expressed his desire to plan the date himself. He wanted to make it special for Erica. So, he took her to her favorite beach town on the East Coast, Wilmington, which was a two-hour drive from where they lived.

Their date began at a fondue restaurant, unaware that Erica was lactose intolerant. Despite the unexpected challenge, the date turned out to be perfect. They spent the evening talking about anything and everything, realizing how well they connected on a deeper level.

After dinner, they walked the boardwalk and then Chad drove Erica back home. Not wanting to end the night Chad offered to help Erica with a Pixar Cars puzzle that was out on a table. They spent the night working on the puzzle together, leaving their signatures on it once it was complete. Not knowing at the time, this puzzle would become a symbol of their love and a cherished memory in their future home.

As the night grew darker, they stepped out onto the back porch and found themselves dancing under the twinkling stars to the captivating melodies of country music. It was a magical moment that solidified their connection and love for each other.

From that moment on, their relationship only grew stronger. They realized that they had both found love in each others company. Their journey continued as they supported each other in their careers, faced challenges together, celebrated milestones side by side, and started exploring the world on their many adventures together.
