Our Wedding

We first met at Aubuchon Hardware, on Devons first day working. Chaela walked up and said hello, and he stared at her without saying a word, to which she thought he immediately hated her and ended up walking away, going back to work. Fast forward a month later, he finally started talking, revealing it was his birthday and Chaela bought him a bag of candy to celebrate. Apparently, food really is the way to his heart as he then became my work husband and best friend after that. It took another 9 months for the stars to align, and Chaela to realize anyone she tried to date did not compare to Devon and how he treated her, to get the balls to call him and profess her feelings. We started talking as more than friends and soon made it official a month later, in March, 2023. Shout out to Hannah Palladino, for knowing both of us liked the other for a good 5-6 months before we both confessed. She did not tell either of us the other felt the same, and watched our painful flirtations and friend-zones like it was a TV Drama.

Devon's favorite cousin and built in buddy. Fresh from the Air Force, he enjoys the good parts Maine has to offer for hunting, fishing, and a calm life.

This option is closest to the wedding venue in Burnham, right off the I-95 in Waterville, and allows you close accommodation to charming downtown Waterville, should you choose to explore. It is slightly south from Burnham, for folks driving up from the south or flying into Portland, ME, this hotel would be closest to you, allowing a short drive to and from, night of the wedding. 

Best Western Plus Waterville Grand Hotel

In Bangor, this stay is best suited for those flying into Bangor Airport, or folks coming from the north. Burnham is about a half hour drive from here, but please consider traffic to time, as Bangor is a busier area. Well placed to enjoy Bangor’s offerings— the casino, bustling downtown, museums or nature walks. The lovely Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are about a 45 minute drive straight east to the coast from here as well.

Take a free tour of the working alpacas, and visit their barn and store for Alpaca made items, some of the warmest yarn to wear. They do ask you leave dogs at home as they frighten the alpacas.
