Dad wakes me up and says, “Let’s go to the hospital, you have a brother” and all of a sudden there he was, this little person squirming on my lap. It was an exciting day as Neeran was the
playful sibling I always wanted. Growing up, we do the usual brotherly things, basketball, soccer, swimming, etc. or just hang out playing in the yard or at the park across the street. He was a very happy go lucky, positive kid and that attitude has stayed with him as he has blossomed into one of the finest men I know: a kind soul with a generous heart and a fun-loving
attitude.
Neeran's endearing relationship extends to my wife, Ragini, and our boys, Devesh and Kaveesh. He is an important part of their life and they value spending time with him, on vacation, during family events, or just hanging out together.
Three years ago when I was in Houston, Neeran and I went to a bar to meet with some of his friends. That is when I met Chandni. At the time, he insisted they were just friends but I saw they had a playful spark when they talked and teased each other and that spark clearly ignited into a loving relationship. Very happy that Neeran and Chandni found each other and wish them best as they enter a new phase of their life.

Lukas Graham's mama once told him when he was seven years old to "Go make yourself some friends, or you'll be lonely." Well it wasn't until Neeran was in his early twenties when his mom decided to give him the same message after he moved down from Boston. It was 20+ years ago, when Shardul, myself and some of our other friends were at a Swadhyaya (church) event when we met this whitewashed, loser Indian guy sitting by himself at a cafeteria table. Jokes aside, I would have never guessed the impact Neeran would have and the close relationship we would build from that day forward. This guy's been there at every major milestone in my life since that day and has become family. Fast forward to today and it's an honor to be picked as his Best Man for one of his biggest milestone! Can't wait to celebrate Neeran and Chandni in March 2024!

I have known Neeran for about 24 years now. I remember when he drove a few of us in his 1989 vintage poop-colored Ford Explorer through the flood of tropical storm Allison in 2001. It was a simple life back then. Neeran has continued to be a wonderful person throughout these years. Always there for support, kind and gentle with high integrity. He always does the right thing. He's a solid friend, an avid hiker, and an expert in many things not limited to finance, wine, bourbon, designing his apartment with furniture from the 70s, avoiding the sun like a vampire, and being able to sleep while talking. I am truly excited that he met Chandni. We are expecting more fun times ahead.

I met Neeran at a common friend's Diwali Party on November 13, 2020. The common friend of ours who hosted the Diwali Party told me prior to the event that Neeran and I would definitely mesh as friends. I must say I was skeptical when she told me this piece of information but after meeting Neeran I was completely wrong. LOL! Ever since that evening, our friendship has become very close and I have been privileged enough to introduce him to my circle of friends. He is now good friends with some of those individuals which made me very happy. And conversely I have become good friends with a few of his friends who I had never met. Ever since that evening (3 years ago) Neeran and I met, we have shared many memories thus far (Trips, Weddings, Sporting Events, Bourbon Nights, Bdays, Spending Time w/Friends, etc.) and will continue to do so.

Neeran and I met through mutual friends and our love for bourbon. Neeran and I have been friends for three years. Neeran is a genuine person who always put others before himself even when he misses out on the return. The made a great decision to include a lovely lady in his life that loves fur babies just as much as me. I look back on my friendship with Neeran and know I am a better person for having him as a friend in my life.

Three years ago, at Kirby Icehouse, I had the pleasure of meeting one hell of a stud named Neeran. What struck me most was Neeran's kindness and his knack for turning any situation into a joke and making others smile. He's the type of guy who treats me like a younger brother from day one, always there with a helping hand and few witty one-liners. No matter the situation, Neeran's "if you need anything, I'm there" mentality has been a constant source of laughter and support in our friendship. I will forever be thankful for meeting him and wish him the best with his new adventure with his loving, future- wife Chandni.

I first met Neeran at a mutual friend's birthday party weekend in Austin. I couldn't help but fall in love with the guy right away. Lucky for us, Neeran is the type of guy who shows you his heart right away....and why not...when you have a heart as beautiful as his! I literally always say he is probably the nicest person I know. He's always up for a good time, and a good bourbon!! Respect....Neeran definitely knows how to respect people...especially women. What a son....nothing means more to this guy then his parents. He is always there for them in a drop of a hat no matter what else he may have going on. Extremely intelligent, Uber successful, and stud muffin all describe my brother from another mother...Neeran Pathak. If you don't like Neeran, there's something wrong with you...😀

Three years ago my first conversation with Neeran was like catching up with an old friend you never knew you had. Neeran's warmth and genuine interest in people made the interaction feel like a breath of fresh air. What struck me most about Neeran was his kindness and unwavering support. In times of joy, and in moments of challenge, his encouraging words were a comforting balm. It's interesting that throughout these past years, Neeran and I have shared memories with mutual friends that have become the fabric of our friendship.

Whether it's a heart-to-heart conversation over a drink or a laughter-filled evening with friends, every moment with Neeran is a treasure. Hobbies – (aka) the game of golf! I remember as we played more rounds together, I found joy in sharing my golf wisdom with Neeran. As he would practice his swing, I'd exchange valuable tips that I have learned along my years of playing the game… A gentleman's game as we like to call it! Here's to you buddy, to adventures, conversations, and making memories that will last a lifetime!

So…A few years ago this random guy crashes my birthday party at the Sporting Club in H-town and this was my first introduction to this fella named Neeran, lol. Since that fateful meeting I’m proud to say it’s evolved into a friendship that I’m blessed to share with him today. Neeran has a genuine nature to him that comes off so effortlessly to others with a kind heart that is welcoming to all. With our busy lives we don’t get to see much of each other as we would like, but when we do we can always pick up where we left off. We’ve shared good laughs, good times and of course good bourbon. I'm honored and looking forward to celebrating this auspicious occasion in Neeran’s life. Cheers!

I’ve known Neeran a long time. Or at least it feels that way. Ours is a love story out of convenience. Back when I was in high school, and he was already older than dirt, he needed friends in Houston and Urmil and I needed a car. Unfortunately, he lived in Clear Lake and we lived in Alief…so he was useless but at least he was nice…until you got him started on what he thought was a Hot Topic…like Marvel Comics. Then he goes into Hulk mode. Sure, he has a nice smile and is polite with the elderly folks but underneath is a boy who never lost his sense of adventure. Chandni can expect anything except boredom…unless he starts talking about Marvel, or Finance, or Tequila, or anything he has researched extensively…then she can expect Neeran to tell her a good bedtime story. Neeran is many things and none that can fit into a paragraph…I can’t divulge too much more than this without both of us ending up in jail…neither the criminal nor the accomplice shall be revealed. Most guys will say this…but only a couple of us know where the bodies are buried. Congratulations to Neeran the dashing man of mystery and Chandni, his lovely fairytale princess! Neha and I look forward to celebrating you both and creating awesome memories together, if we’re sober.
