We desire to live every part of our lives in accordance with God's will. We believe marriage is a sacrament and therefore should be celebrated within the mass. Marriage is a covenant between a man and woman that is sealed in love by God. We pledge to be faithful to each other just as God has promised this to all people. At mass, we are getting married in the presence of the Holy Eucharist. We believe that the Holy Spirit is present.
What is the Eucharist and may I receive it?
The Eucharist is the body of Christ and Jesus told us this at the Last Supper. The church states only those in Full Communion with the Catholic church should receive the Eucharist. Those who are not Catholic or who do not practice their Catholic faith should not receive the Eucharist at mass. The Eucharist is given to us by God at the Last Supper so that we may have eternal life. We believe that God transforms the Eucharist at every mass and should only be taken by those living in Full Communion with the Church. If you would like to participate in mass, but not receive the Eucharist, we invite you to please cross your arms over your chest for a blessing during communion.
What is the attire?
We ask that our guests dress as if they are going to a formal garden party! Florals and bow ties are encouraged. In addition, since we are getting married in the presence of the Most Holy Eucharist, we ask that our guests dress modestly for the mass.
Where is the reception ballroom in accordance to the hotel?
The reception ballroom is on the main floor of the hotel where guests will be staying. This means we can all dance and drink the night away!
