The Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) is incredibly convenient. It is a small airport with only a few gates, and it is easy to get to any lodging from here. Also added bonus is that the airport restaurant, Woody's, was named "Best Airport Sit-down Restaurant" in the country! The San Jose Airport (SJC) is farther away (about an hour away from Monterey), but flights in are typically cheaper. This option is more convenient if you are getting a rental car. The San Francisco Airport (SFO) is about two hours away from Monterey and has some of the cheapest options for flights. I would only recommend this airport if you are flying in from international, or if you are renting a car and do not mind driving a while!

The weather will be cold with highs typically about 60 degrees and lows about 48 degrees. The cold weather makes it so that the bay isn't as foggy in the winter! This makes for incredible sunsets (I highly recommend watching the sunset at Asilomar). We made sure our wedding venue is prepared for cold weather and any chance of rain. The ceremony will hopefully be outside, so remember to dress warmly (I always recommend layers in Monterey). There will be tons of patio heaters and an indoor option if there is a chance of rain.

The dress code is cocktail attire but be sure to bring your cowboy boots or dancing shoes for the reception (or wear them all night!)! The ceremony will hopefully be outside and the evening will likely be chilly so wear layers!

The venue does not have dedicated parking however since the wedding is on a Sunday, there are a lot of options for free parking around downtown Monterey. I recommend either the Calle Principal Garage, Lot 7 (which is the upper level of the Calle Principal Garage but it has a different entrance), or the Downtown East Parking Garage. Calle Principal is a 3 minute walk from the venue and East Parking is a 6 minute walk. If you cannot find parking next to the venue, the garages are sure to have available spots. Be sure to read street signs to ensure there is no time restriction for your parking spot.

The ceremony starts at 3:30 pm. Unless you are part of our immediate family, please arrive between 3:10 pm and 3:25 pm so that we can start on time without any interruptions.

Robb and I do not have a registry. We value your presence over your presents, and we know it costs a bit of money to fly into Monterey! Robb and I feel the most blessed through the relationships we have with all of you, so we would love personal cards :) There will be a card box at the wedding, or you can reach out to us to ask for our new address!
