Our Story

Our Story

Neil and I met in Dallas through friends in 2020 and began dating on April 1, 2021. Before we had officially begun dating, we went to the Dell Matchplay Golf Tournament at Austin Country Club with my family in March 2021. Little did we know, we'd be getting married there just three short years later.

Our favorite things to do together include trying new restaurants around Dallas, planning our next trip, and spending time with all of the wonderful people in our lives. We keep I-35 in business traveling between our two families!

We are so beyond thrilled to welcome everyone to Austin for our special day. Including the family of Neil's father from Scotland, which I had the pleasure of visiting in March 2022.

Whether you're coming from near or far, we are counting down the days until we are able to celebrate with you and let the festivities begin!

Our Engagement Story

Neil and I planned a trip to Portugal and France in July 2022 for March 2023 with our friends Sam Tipton and Maddie Boone. Sam is Neil's fraternity big brother and his girlfriend, Maddie, is in law school at SMU so the trip was planned to be over her spring break.

The trip began in Lisbon, Portugal where we stayed three nights before traveling to Porto, Portugal by train where we stayed for one night.

We flew to Paris on a Wednesday night and Neil proposed Thursday morning in front of the Eiffel Tower on our way to brunch! He hired a surprise photographer that took photos of us around the Eiffel Tower while Sam and Maddie set up a picnic for us on Champs de Mars. We had the most incredible day celebrating together!

Neil and I are so thankful for all of the memories we made with Sam and Maddie on our trip. We will cherish them forever!

Our Wedding Story

Neil and Charlotte are getting married at Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church, just down the street from Charlotte's childhood home. Mr. and Mrs. Raiford are long-time members of the church and Charlotte was also confirmed there.
