Renaissance Austin Hotel
Book a room in our room block at the Renaissance Hotel!
Rooms in our block are available Thursday through Saturday night. However, guests have the option to stay one, two, or three nights as desired.
Transportation between the hotel and venues on the wedding day will only be available to those staying in our room block.
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport
For our out-of-town guests, we recommend flying into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS).
The drive from the airport to The Renaissance Hotel is approximately 25 minutes.
Rental cars, taxis, and ride-shares pick up at the rental car building which is a 5-7 minute walk from the terminal or there is a shuttle from baggage claim that will take you there. Uber, Lyft, and Fetii are all App-based ride-share services, Fetii being a group ride-share that drives Sprinter vans seating up to 15 people.

Solar Eclipse
If you stay in Austin or the surrounding area until Monday, the Great America Solar Eclipse will be viewable from Austin, Dallas, and the surrounding Hill Country.

The Arboretum is an outdoor shopping center located walking distance from The Renaissance Hotel. Shop over 40 national and local retailers and restaurants.
South Congress
Located just south of Austin's downtown, the South Congress Avenue ("SoCo") neighborhood is a shopping, dining, and cultural district known for its eclectic retailers, restaurants, music, and art venues.

Zilker Metropolitan Park
Zilker Park is a 361-acre park nestled in the heart of downtown, right off of Lady Bird Lake. The park is home to picnic facilities, bike/canoe rentals, a disc golf course, a large playground, the Zilker Zephyr train, and Barton Springs Pool, an urban oasis where swimmers plunge into 68-degree, spring-fed waters.
Broken Spoke
The Broken Spoke, on South Lamar in Austin, was established in 1964 and claims to be the "last of the true Texas dance halls."
Butler Pitch & Putt
Located in the heart of downtown, Butler Pitch & Putt is a 9-hole, par 3 pitch & putt course with real grass greens that is unique, fun, and easy to play for all ages and skill levels. Stop inside the Clubhouse for classic Master's-style sandwiches, snacks, and more.

Texas Capitol
The Texas State Capitol offers free tours Monday-Friday 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and Sat & Sun 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. You can also pick up a brochure at the visitors center and do a free self-guided tour.
The Texas Hill Country
If you're spending more than the weekend in Austin, go see the Texas Hill Country!
Fredericksburg and the surrounding areas boast sprawling wineries, hill country views, and a quaint German town.

Pennybacker Bridge Overlook
A ten-minute hike gives you expansive views of Lake Austin, the iconic Pennybacker Bridge, Austin's downtown skyline, and the golf course of Neil and Charlotte's wedding venue, Austin Country Club.
Bat Boat Tour
The Austin Bats are Austin's most popular visitor attraction. The Congress Avenue bridge spans Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin and is home to the largest bat colony in North America known as the Congress Bridge Bats.
Watch from the South Congress Bridge or catch a Capital Cruise Sunset Tour and watch the bats take flight from the water. Capital Cruises pick up from the Hyatt Regency.
Other viewing options include the Ann & Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail and the boat dock at the Four Seasons Hotel.
Esther's Follies
If you want to experience how Austinites "Keep Austin Weird," get a ticket to Esther's Follies! The modern-day vaudeville comedy theatre is located on East 6th Street and shows run from Thursday to Saturday.
