Can I bring my kids?
One of the most-asked wedding questions! YES, you can bring your kids. We do not want lack of childcare to prevent you from sharing in our day with us. However, if you want a kid-free night to have some fun, we encourage you to do so. Feel free to do what is best for you!
Can I bring a plus one?
Your invitation will include your plus one if you are given one. We intentionally crafted plus ones for those who have been with their significant other for a long time or if there won't be many other people you know at our wedding. So, if your invitation does not include your partner's name or "guest" please be rest assured that you will have plenty of social time with people we know you love!
Where is the ceremony?
The ceremony will be at St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Manhattan, KS. Please settle in, as our ceremony will be a full Mass (aka one hour long). We are so excited to share our faith with you and hope you revel in the beauty just like we do. We will have programs that include all the Mass responses, so please follow along and participate in the songs, prayers and responses if you want.
Where is the reception?
The reception will be at the K-State Alumni Center, which is right across the street from St. Isidore's. We will have a break period in between the ceremony ending and cocktail hour starting (The Catholic Gap, if you know you know). But don't worry, we will have a variety of fun options for you to choose from during this time and you'll be able to spend some time in this town we love.
Are there hotel room blocks?
Yes! Information about hotels can be found under the "Travel" menu selection. They all have cutoff dates to reserve under the hotel room block and rate, so be sure to reserve them as soon as you RSVP!
What time should we arrive?
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony starting (by 1:45p.m.), but we recommend around 30 minutes before.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is semi-formal. Please dress presentable, but don't feel the need to buy anything special. We would much rather be blessed with your presence than have you too stressed about what to wear!
