Get to Know the Bride and the Groom!

Kayla Sosa

Kayla was born and raised in Destrehan, Louisiana which is a little outside of New Orleans. She is very close with her older brother, Stan aka Bubba. Growing up, Kayla was involved in many different activities. Kayla was heavily involved in cheerleading and band (both concert and marching) as well as participation in choir, color/winter guard, and her schools talented art program. For shorter times in her childhood Kayla was also involved in horse back riding and tennis. After high school, Kayla went to college and graduated with a degree in accounting. In 2019, during college, Kayla applied and got accepted to the Disney College Program. While on her program Kayla fell in love with the central Florida area and knew that was the goal after graduating. Kayla got a job at a CPA firm in Downtown Orlando after graduating in 2020 and has lived full time in the area ever since. She currently works as a financial accountant for a travel company. Since she was a little kid, Kayla has always loved animals. Back in early 2022 she adopted 2 cats, Chonkers and Soupy, who are brother and sister. They are the loves of her life - next to Chase of course. Some other things Kayla loves are coffee, theme parks, traveling, and watching sports (especially LSU sports).

Chase Hardeman

Chase Hardeman grew up in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area both on the Tennessee and Georgia sides of the state line as the youngest of three brothers. During his childhood, Chase played a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, football, bowling, tennis, and baseball.

After high school, Chase went to Dalton State College and graduated with an Associate’s degree in Physics in 2015, and then transferred to The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering in 2019. While in college, Chase interned at Tennessee Valley Authority in their nuclear engineering department. After college, Chase moved to Pensacola, Florida for work as a design engineer for the local power company. However, he always dreamed of living in the central Florida area, so in early 2022 the opportunity arose to move to Orlando to work for an engineering firm and so he took it. Currently, Chase lives in Celebration, Florida and enjoys video games and watching his Georgia Bulldogs. He loves to travel, and can’t wait to marry his best friend and soulmate and see the world.
