April 27th is also Erik and Hailey's wedding anniversary, make sure you cheers them!!

OHH and let us not forget Brad, his birthday is in September but he would like cheersed in APRIL so show him some love or give him a wedgie whatever tickles your fancy!!

We were able to orchestrate all of the sailing guests to be seated together in MDR for dinner, this is such a fun part of cruising and we are excited for everyone to be together.

Weather predictions:

April on Catalina Island features mild, dry, and pleasant weather, with daily highs increasing from 66F-69F and lows 52F-54F

In April, Ensenada experiences mild, pleasant, and mostly sunny weather, ideal for tourism. Daily high temperatures typically range from 70F-73F and lows of around 52F

Catalina island: Beautiful little island. If you haven't been before we highly recommend renting a golf cart to tour around the island. Restaurants are delicious but spendy plan accordingly. Lots of cute little shops. E bike rentals. We personally plan to walk around play on beach with kids, maybe shop and eat a good lunch. Please do whatever you want and have fun!

Ensenada: There is lots of excursions to chose from however it's also fun just to walk around eat tacos (we have a fav taco spot :) ), drink drinks and shop. You do not have to get off the boat if you don't want to.

Bonine (better than Dramamine)

VAPERS: attention any and all vapers do not Vape in Mexico if you get off the boat. I have seen on cruiser facebook groups that Mexico is taking this very serious please be aware. Vaping is completely illegal in Mexico, and bringing or using any vaping device can result in fines, confiscation, or even criminal penalties.

Legal Status

As of 2026, Mexico has implemented one of the strictest vaping bans in the world. The prohibition is embedded in the Mexican Constitution, making it extremely difficult to reverse through normal legislation. The ban covers all e-cigarettes and vaping devices, regardless of nicotine content, and applies to both residents and tourists. Selling, advertising, or distributing vaping products is also illegal throughout the country.

please do not try to bring maryjane of any kind on the boat you will get kicked off and won't be allowed to cruise again

Carnival has also cracked down on bringing alcohol aboard the ship please don't try to be sneaky they will find it and you can be kicked off. Adults you are allowed to bring one bottle of wine per checked suitcase. Again highly recommend reading the dos and don't page on Carnivals website

SAVE money:

You have all the way up to the week before to prebuy your drink packages, wifi packages and any other funshop items you want delivered to your room. It is cheaper to do this before being on the boat. I highly recommend if you plan to buy some of the fun photos they take through out the cruise that you pre buy a photo package as it adds up super fast on the boat (lesson learned hahah)
