Q + A

How should I RSVP?

To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and proceed by following the prompts for each member of your party. You will only be able to RSVP for those listed on your invitations as we are only able to accommodate for a specific number of guests. If you are unable to make it. Please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP 'no' on the website!

Will there be a welcome party?

Yes! We would love our guest to join us on Friday, November 1st from 7:00 - 10:00 pm at the Mulberry Street Tavern (located in the Surety Hotel) for drinks and conversation before the big day! No need to RSVP, food and drinks available in the Mulberry Street Tavern, feel free to drop by or get comfy for awhile!

What is the dress code of the wedding?

We want to see all of our friends and family looking their best! Semi-formal to formal attire is expected, so dress to impress (suit jackets or ties, cocktail dresses to floor length is acceptable)! We would love for everyone to wear shades of greens, blues, grays, and neutrals! Please no jeans/denim or shades of white.

Can I bring a plus one/my kids?

We ask that you only RSVP for people included on your formal invitations so that we are able to stick to our budget and accommodate everyone!

What is parking like?

There are a few options! We suggest using either the convenience parking lot across the street (south of the hotel) or the parking garage behind the hotel (to the west of the hotel). Both of these options do have a fee but you also have the option to add parking while making your reservation through our guest room block link!

What do I do if I am late for the ceremony?

The ceremony will be starting promptly at 4:00 pm. We recommend guests arrive between 3:30-3:45 so there is time to mingle and find a seat. If you happen to be late, please refrain from entering the ceremony space once it has begun and please wait in the hotel lobby until cocktail hour begins. Thank you for understanding!

Can we take our own pictures + videos throughout the day?

Our ceremony will be unplugged. We invested a good amount of money for our photographer to capture our day beautifully and will be so excited to share the photos once we receive them! We ask that phones and cameras be put away during the ceremony, however throughout the rest of the day feel free to take all the pictures you want!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors! If weather permits, we will have outdoor space access throughout the evening but it is optional.

How will seating be organized?

The ceremony will be open seating, however please allow for family to have the first few rows and aisles. Otherwise feel free to sit wherever you would like! For the reception, we will have assigned seating to accommodate for all guests and their plus ones!

What will the vibe of the reception be?

Fun and chill! Of course there will be dancing, but there will also be a variety of other activities to do if dancing isn't your speed so be ready to get competitive and have some fun!

Since there will be alcohol, what transportation will there be?

We DO NOT want anyone to be drinking and driving. To avoid this, we have reserved a block of rooms at the same location of our ceremony and reception! If you are not planning on staying at the Surety, we highly encourage you to plan your transportation ahead of time (scheduling an Uber/Lyft). For the after party, we will be going to places within walking distance of our venue so we are all able to safely make it back at the end of the night!
