Wedding Venue Information

Northbrook Farms address is 3952 Fairgrounds Road Severn, ON L3V 0Y2. This stunning, nature-inspired property is located just outside of Orillia. The venue has mature trees (creating shade from the hot July sun), wheelchair accessible washrooms, and ample space to create life-long memories during our special day. The ceremony will take place in the Woodlands, with the reception to follow in the outdoor tent. There is a large parking lot for all our friends and family. Overnight parking is offered to all guests—please be responsible and do not drink and drive. Smoking is limited to the areas that will be disclosed by the MC. Smoking is prohibited in the tent, the ceremony area, and on the lawn.

How to RSVP

No trip to the mailbox necessary! Seeing as we are in 2026, and technology is our friend please RSVP online via this website by clicking on the "RSVP" tab at the top of this page. Please RSVP no later than June 1st, 2026.

Is there a dress code?

We know how hot the temperatures can be in July... so with that being said, the dress code is pretty wide. Anything between cocktail attire to semi-formal works. You can definitely keep your ball gown or tuxedo at home for this event, but please avoid dressing like you're going to a low-key family barbeque. We trust that you will make good choices for not only the weather, but your own comfort level! If you want to match the vibe - think bright florals, tropical palms, and jewel tone colours!

Is this a child-friendly event?

As much as we love our friends’ children, the event is not child friendly. We appreciate your understanding.

Am I able to bring a plus one?

We have done our best to already include the couples that we are aware of. Our "Save the Date" cards included all our intended guests names, as well as their partner's name. Therefore, plus one's are by invitation only. We really appreciate your understanding.

Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

We have chosen to do an unplugged ceremony. This means during the ceremony we respectfully ask that your phones are on silent, and out of sight. We will have professional photographers capturing the ceremony. With that being said, you are more than welcome to take photos during the cocktail hour, reception, and dance-party!

What is the closest hotel to the venue?

The Fairfield by Marriott in Orillia is the closest hotel to our venue, it is approximately an 8 minute drive. The hotel does not offer a room-block for reservations but we have secured a discount code for our friends and family that wish to stay overnight. There is a minimum 1 night stay (so you are not forced into staying two nights), but guests are welcome to stay Friday night, and Saturday night! https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/rqsfo-fairfield-inn-and-suites-orillia/overview/

How do I reserve a room with the hotel?

If you are wanting to reserve a discounted room, the code is W14. There is no reserved block of rooms, and rates will increase as the wedding approaches. More information regarding this is found on the "Travel" tab at the top of this page. Please follow the instructions provided to reserve a room.

Is there a shuttle service available?

Due to the venue being so close to our chosen hotel, there will not be a shuttle service from the hotel to the venue. However, there may be a shuttle service at the end of the evening to assist our guests in arriving back to their hotel accommodations. This service is solely dependent on the amount of guests that will be requiring one. Therefore it is VERY important to answer all the questions attached to your RSVP, this helps to provide us with a potential number of guests that require a shuttle.

Is there a gift registry?

Truthfully, after combining our possessions, we have everything we need (and more, we even had two microwaves at one point). Your presence and loving support at our wedding is more than we could ask for! If you choose to honor us with a gift, a contribution towards our future together would be sincerely appreciated. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Am I allowed to post to social media during the big day?

YES! After the ceremony, if you choose to share our special day or any moments you love to the digital world, then by all means - post away! The only thing we ask is that you use the hashtags #missbtomrsg (Miss B to Mrs G) and #MrsGtobe so that we are able to easily find and view the moments captured by you!
