Below are the recommended travel options. Early reservation at the hotels is HIGHLY recommended as Highlands books up very quickly. Should you not find the perfect match below, we recommend airbnb or vrbo for rental options! As a reminder, Uber and Lyft are not an option in Highlands. We HIGHLY recommend staying in downtown Highlands and/or near main street for transportation purposes, or plan ahead to drive to the venues! Cars can not be left overnight at The Farm so please plan accordingly if you plan to drive.

Airports

200 Main is one of the pick up locations for our transportation to and from the ceremony and reception! This hotel is right in the heart of downtown Highlands, and is in walking distance to everything this amazing town has to offer! There is a two night minimum, there is no block code, and we HIGHLY recommend early reservation!

200 Main

This hotel is one of the pick up locations for our transportation to and from the ceremony and reception! This hotel is in the heart of downtown and has multiple restaurant/bar options within the hotel! We have a small room block available with a two night minimum. Please contact the bride or the groom for further information on how to secure a room through the room block!

Old Edwards Inn and Spa

This hotel is newer to Highlands and has come highly recommended! This hotel is less than half a mile to downtown Highlands! Trailborn is a pickup point for transportation to and from the ceremony and reception. There is no block code, and early reservation is HIGHLY recommended!

Trailborn Highlands

This is one of the bride's favorite spots in Highlands! She loves the boutique style of the hotel, the convenient location, and the cozy bar located inside the hotel! This is in walking distance to the pick up locations for the transportation to and from the ceremony and reception. There is no block code and early reservation is HIGHLY recommended!

Highlander Mountain House & The Ruffed Grouse Tavern

These are upscale apartments right in the heart of downtown Highlands! They have a 2 bedroom and studio option. This is located right beside one of the pick up locations for transportation to and from the ceremony and reception. There is no block code and early reservation is HIGHLY recommended!

The Lofts on Main

Travel

With Highlands, NC being a quaint and boutique town, Uber and Lyft are not available for transportation purposes. It is HIGHLY recommended to stay in downtown Highlands and/or near main street for transportation purposes, or plan accordingly to drive to wedding weekend event locations!

Attendants will be outside to direct all guests to parking, or you may park on Main Street and walk to the venue. For all guests staying in downtown Highlands this is a walkable venue!

Wedding Ceremony & Reception

Transportation will be provided to and from The Farm at Old Edwards. Pick-up begins at 4:30 pm from 16 Church Street, 200 Main, Park on Main, and Trailborn Highlands. Parking is available at the venue for those who wish to drive, but please plan accordingly as cars are not allowed to be left at The Farm overnight. Transportation will run consistently throughout the night between The Farm and pick-up/drop off hotel destinations. The last bus will depart from The Farm at 11:00 pm.
