We ask that all guests arrive at the venue NO LATER THAN 5:00 PM to allow for parking and traveling to the ceremony location. If you arrive later than 5:15 PM ET, you will be asked to wait near the lodge until the ceremony has concluded and cocktail hour begins. Please keep in mind, there is always traffic in Charleston! We always suggest you leave EXTRA early and have time to spare.

Although we love all the children in our lives we have decided to keep the ceremony and reception an adult-only event. We hope you'll take this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy a fun night out!

We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your invitation. If you received a plus one, your invitation will read “(Your Name) & Guest”. Please respect our wishes as we would like to keep our wedding an intimate celebration. Thank you for your understanding!

We would like you to wear something you feel great in! Preferably no flamboyant colors.

There is plenty of parking for the venue! If you would like to Uber to and from the event we encourage you to schedule your ride ahead of time as the venue is located outside of the city.

The ceremony and reception are outdoors but the main lodge will be open to guests when they need to take a break from the heat. The ceremony will be on soil. Ladies, please bring heel protectors if needed.

If you will not have access to your own vehicle and/or plan to consumer alcohol, we encourage you to schedule your ride with Uber or Lyft ahead of time as the venue is located outside of the city.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate you if you RSVP late. We will need to provide our vendors and venue with an exact guest count by a certain date. While we will send out reminders after invitations are sent, please be sure to RSVP as soon as possible.

We are having an “unplugged ceremony” (no phones or cameras). If you bring it, it needs to be silenced or turned off during the ceremony. The greatest gift you can give us is to be fully present when we say “I do”! We have hired professional photographers to capture this moment for us and we promise to share photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, you are welcome to take as many pictures and videos as you like!
