Because we are celebrating the Sacrament of Matrimony, we kindly ask that everyone dress in fun, semi-formal, and modest attire to best respect the sanctity of the Eucharist.
As far as fun goes, we're talking fun floral prints, colorful ties, and those cool heels in your closet that you have been waiting to wear.
HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Please arrive at least 15-20 min before the Mass begins at 2 pm. Walking down the aisle at the beginning of the Mass is Chloe's thing.
What should I expect for the wedding ceremony?
Chloe and Daniel are Catholic so, their wedding ceremony will be a full Catholic Mass, which is the highest form of prayer in the Catholic faith. During this mass, there will be readings, worship music, special prayers, blessings, Catholic vows, and Holy Communion. Holy Communion is where Heaven and Earth smash together and the Lord becomes fully present at the Mass where Christs' body, blood, soul, and divinity is found in the Eucharist. This appears in the Bible in the Gospel of John chapter 6. If you are not Catholic or are not a currently practicing Catholic, please approach the priest with your arms crossed over your chest during Holy Communion to receive a blessing from their priest, Father Brian McNavish. Daniel and Chloe cannot wait to celebrate this beautiful Sacrament with you.
Can I take photos during the Wedding Mass
NO!! We will be having an unplugged ceremony! An unplugged ceremony means guests are asked to refrain from using their phones at any time during the Mass. We especially ask that you refrain from taking any photos or videos during this time as the Mass is incredibly sacred. We want our guests and ourselves to be able to be fully present during this beautiful ceremony. We have also hired an amazing photographer who is intensely talented that will be sure to capture any special memories you would like to have!
WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER THE CEREMONY?
Once the Wedding Mass has concluded, we kindly request that all non-immediate family members or those not in the wedding party exit the church so family portraits can begin. We look forward to seeing you at the reception.
