Chloe & Molly met freshman year of college, as they lived just a few doors down from each other in their campus dorm! They began to hang out after they connected at the campus catholic center. They became the best of friends very quickly! Their friendship is marked by a mutual love for Jesus, ice cream, plants, iced coffee & sunshine. From freshman year lab partners (in environmental science class) to supporting one another in “adulting,” Jesus has abundantly blessed their friendship. They have shared in one another’s highs & lows, and they cannot wait to see how the Lord continues to work through their friendship!

Chloe and Melina have been sisters for 23-ish years. Their first conversation was through the walls of Mama’s tummy. Chloe was always the big ideas person - planning extravagant trips or pitching a script to the production team (Melina and Rhiana) for one of their many great films, i.e. Teddy Bear Museum, Tom Nook Closes the Store, or The Once-ler’s Traveling Madness. When Chloe went to college, Melina’s favorite pass-times were showing up, eating Chloe’s food, and making it impossible for anyone to do homework for a couple of days. A couple years into knowing him, Melina and Daniel were at a friends dinner party and Melina noticed Daniel playing her sister’s exclusive playlist over the speaker. That’s when she knew something was up. Watching Chloe and Daniel’s love story has been a gift so far and Melina is so honored to see it come to the altar as a sacrament in the church!

Chloe and Kierra’s friendship started with a leap of faith, of Chloe moving in with a random group of girls in Athens, in a place we called the Goretti House. Kierra started to like this Chloe girl due to her same love for granola girl things and her willingness to be down for almost anything, such as going to Jittery Joe’s Coffee to hang out, exploring an abandoned psych hospital during Halloween, or nights when they were just working on homework and crossword-puzzling it up. Ever since, they have become closer since Kierra’s fiance, Jake (one of the groomsmen), and Daniel have developed their own bromance. Kierra’s so thankful for her friendship with Chloe, and especially loves spending time with Chloe and Daniel. She loves to come home and rant to them or have the best conversations with them because they are both such great listeners and friends. Kierra cannot wait to see these two get married and see God’s love for them continue to grow!

Rhiana, also known as ‘Leetle Squeeshy’, is Chloe’s youngest sister. They are still able to attempt all of the dances they learned growing up for dance recitals, and enjoy putting on performances for Daniel even though he falls asleep. Rhiana has always looked up to Chloe, so much that she also almost became a bobcat just like her. Rhiana has always supported Chloe in her dreams of being a 4H agent, a photographer, and a planties class teacher, and now enjoys watching her live out all of those dreams at the same time. In return for inspiration and friendship, she gladly gives Chloe her makeup and cardigans and asks her random planty related questions that she knows are too far out for Chloe to know the answer too. Rhiana feels so incredibly blessed to be able to witness this moment in Chloe and Daniel’s lives and even though Daniel bullies Rhiana, she is beyond excited to welcome him as a brother!

Abigail is one of Chloe’s nearest and dearest friends (they only live 10 mins away, a dream come true!) They met freshman year of college (go bobcats) as dorm neighbors and after surviving a terrible sophomore year separation, they got their act together and finally became roommates along with molly (matron of honor). Their friendship deepened over ice cream runs, sitting in the sun, sleepovers, retreats, beach adventures and the fact that life moves way too fast. Abigail has loved having a front row seat to the unfolding of Daniel and Chloe’s entire relationship and she can’t wait to celebrate their marriage!

Pippo is one of Daniel’s oldest friends. The response to the question “How long have you two known each other?” is usually answered in unison: “Too long.” Our moms were pregnant with us together with Daniel due first, but, as Daniel will never let anyone forget, Pippo cheated and was born 9 days earlier. Daniel was the best man in Pippo’s wedding after years and years of Columbian Squires, Starbrew trivia, and countless trips to Athens. Pippo’s wife is the matron of honor and former roommate of Chloe (Pippo is the current roommate). Pippo is exceptionally excited to see his best friend humbly and with great wonder enter into this great Sacrament with Chloe.

Luke has been friends with Daniel for as long as either one of them can remember. They went to the same church, elementary, middle, and high school, and daniel practically lived on his couch at UGA. Daniel had an amazing skill of annoying Luke’s dad by getting the Squires to do anything but wash dishes. This includes climbing buildings, fighting, and doing very amateur parkour around St Andrew’s. They’ve travelled to 3 countries together, dabbed across an international border, and caught pokemon in the streets of Poland. He is excited to continue their friendship into this new chapter of Daniel and Chloe’s life.

Sean is Daniel's eldest brother, and obviously his role model considering Daniel made the incredibly bold choice to look exactly like Sean! Growing up, Sean would frequently call for Daniel’s assistance in getting 100% completion in every Lego Video game, the favorites being Lego Harry Potter and Lego Lord of the Rings. Sean and Chloe have a fond and fierce rivalry while playing any JackBox game. Sean can't wait to see Daniel and Chloe on the altar on their special day.

Ryan and Daniel have known each other for quite a while. As Daniel’s second brother, Ryan was forced to share a room with his brother until he was 15. While sharing their room, Ryan and Daniel would get in frequent fights around who got the top bunk and also get in physical fights around who got to play Skyrim after school (addressing the Skyrim Accords of 2011 which was notarized by their mother Kathleen). Chloe and Ryan quickly got along after Daniel and her began dating and Ryan will frequently blame Chloe for stealing his shirts or belt. Although it is all fun and games, there is a feeling of seriousness in these discussions. Ryan is so happy to see Daniel and Chloe enter into marriage and cannot wait for them to begin a life together.

Hi my name is Juan ( you can call me Juan or anything but late for dinner because I’m never late for dinner iykyk) Daniel and I have known each other for only about 5 years but it seems like we’ve known each for our whole lives. It all started back in 2019 when we were both starting our mission year with Lifeteen. Now no one really knew each other so seeing that I was gonna be his roommate made me nervous. But the moment he walked in everything changed. He was so fun and outgoing. I was almost the complete opposite. But over the next week we really got close. Through out the year we shared so many great moments together like him turning off the bee movie for me at night ( yes I watched the bee movie every night to go to sleep) and putting my phone to charge. Or even him randomly throwing mango hi chews ( because he doesn’t like that flavor) at night. Our friendship has only grown since then and I was lucky enough to have him in my wedding. I will always love him and I’m so glad he met Chloe.

Jake is Daniel’s oldest and best friend. They used to change each others diapers. They met in college, and have always been inseparable. Daniel has always maintained a close physical and emotional connection with Jake, likened by many to the mythical bond between Achilles and Patroclus. Jake being Achilles in this example. Their friendship has been forged through many trials together, such as hiking, pickleball, and hanging out. Although their days of sleepovers and light forehead kisses may be coming to a close, no one is going to be happier for Daniel, and no one is going to be able to defeat him in a crying contest on that blessed day of the DeBuys wedding.
