Bridesmaids

Laura Jackman
Laura Jackman - Matron of Honor
Laura and I both went to SMU and hung around the same frat house (big fans of the Lambdas), but we didn't officially meet until my junior year. It took us about two seconds (and maybe a few Gloria's margs) to become BFFs and we quickly decided to be roommates. We lived together with our hoard of pets for 6 whole years. Laura and I spent most of our time hosting parties, laying by the pool, or dancing in the kitchen while Laura cooked dinner (because I can't cook).
Ashley Sterritt
Ashley Sterritt - Maid of Honor
Ashley and I met in the Lambda Chi house (obviously a running theme here) during my sophomore year of college. We bonded over many mimosas and spent the rest of our years in college attending boulevards and dancing the night away at It'll Do or various warehouses around Dallas. Even after she moved to New York, Ashley is still my go-to party girl and is always down for a good time even if it's just drinking wine on FaceTime to catch up.
Lauren Arnold
Lauren Arnold - Bridesmaid
Lauren and I became fast friends in our freshmen dorm hall at SMU since she spent most of her time in a mutual friend's room avoiding her not-so-great roommate. Her roommate luck changed for the better, and we lived together our sophomore year. Even after moving across the country we still keep up our friendship through excessive snapchats (mostly of her adorable daughter Ruby) and hours-long FaceTime calls.
Graham Lumley
Graham Lumley - Bridesman
Graham was one of the first friends I made at SMU. He lived two doors down from my freshmen dorm room. My roommate Sarah and I decided that he was going to be our best friend whether he liked it or not. Luckily it wasn't too hard to convince him and he quickly became one of my closest friends. Maybe it's Stockholm syndrome, but our friendship is still going strong!
Melissa Fleming
Melissa Fleming - Bridesmaid
When Nathan and I started dating, he insisted we have a double date with his friends Tom and Melissa. After a few Save The Queen cocktails at Armoury, I knew Nathan was right about me loving Melissa (and Tom too). She has been one of my closest friends in Dallas these last few years, spending girls nights drinking too much wine and gossiping over charcuterie boards.
Lindsey Weisert
Lindsey Weisert - Bridesmaid
I first met Nathan's sister Lindsey when I went to Minnesota to meet their family for the first time. She was so welcoming along with the rest of the Weisert family. After we both had to deal with the hardships of growing up with only brothers, I'm excited to have her as my sister-in-law!
Josie Willard
Josie Willard - Attendant
My cousin Josie is one of the sweetest souls you'll ever meet. She's insanely smart, graduating from Montana State in only 3 years! When she's not in Bozeman, you can probably find her volunteering in India or Ecuador.
Ruby Willard
Ruby Willard - Attendant
It hurts a little to know that I can remember holding my cousin Ruby when she was a baby and now she's all grown up (and significantly taller than me). Luckily she puts that height to good use playing D1 basketball at Elon University!

Groomsmen

Collin Weisert
Collin Weisert - Best Man
Collin and I are 16 months apart meaning we spent the majority of our childhood being confused as twins (infuriating us both). Being so close in age (and size) and being very competitive, we would often find ourselves in wrestling matches, pick-up basketball, and sometimes maybe some fighting. Collin now lives in St. Cloud and luckily we've both outgrown our competitive nature a bit and we spend more time catching up than we do tormenting each other.
Billy Nguyen
Billy Nguyen - Groomsman
Billy and I really started hanging out more near the end of high school and into college. We both spent a summer or two working in Austin and taking advantage of all the nightlife together where we really started to bond. Billy is one of the most social and outgoing people I know. No matter where we are or who we are with, he is always having a good time. Billy has since moved all around the country for his career but he always makes an effort to reach out, catch up, and come visit me (even if I suck at reaching out or responding back).
Zach Vierkandt
Zach Vierkandt - Groomsman
Zach and I joke that although when we first met in high school and we weren't close friends right away, here we are in each other's weddings. Zach was my roommate for my last two years of college leading to plenty of time spent tailgating, bar hopping, and studying of course. We've been able to keep up through plenty of vacations together with our college friends and share our love for our dogs. Now Zach lives in Austin, making it easy to catch up whenever I am home.
Danny Rogers
Danny Rogers - Groomsman
I first met Danny when Chloe brought me back for Christmas 2020. I knew they were close so it was important that I made a good impression, and luckily he's a pretty cool guy which made it pretty easy. It's been great bonding over our mutual love of sports and music. It's also been a godsend having Danny in San Diego as well. He's been able to help us get acclimated and been helpful in taking care of our dogs (even if he does favor Leo a little more).
Andrew Kaiser
Andrew Kaiser - Groomsman
Kaiser and I met in grade school through basketball. Playing the same position, we would often get after each other (some would say fight), but this would eventually lead to friendship. Now we practically finish each others movie quotes and know all the same music references. Its always a blast when we get back together because we always pick-up right where we left off, almost as if we never left.
Max Coffey
Max Coffey - Groomsman
I was one of the first people to hang out with Max when he moved to Austin in 6th grade. Since then we've played basketball and football together, spent plenty of afternoons and nights hanging out, and even had to chance to live together for three years when Max moved to Dallas after college. Now, Max is also engaged to his fiance Christina and we have been able to further bond over wedding planning.
Jay Ettinger
Jay Ettinger - Usher
I first met Jay in kindergarten, but it wasn't until Jay moved from Austin to Spicer, then back to Austin in 6th grade that we started hanging out. Similar to half of my wedding party, it all started with sports. Jay's basement was the go-to spot for our high school hangouts, spending almost every summer day playing whiffle ball, video games, and ping pong. It's great having Jay out here in Southern California as well, and I hope his girlfriend Orie is able to keep him here with us for the long term.
Garrett Gourley
Garrett Gourley - Usher
I was able to meet Garrett through Zach at college, and eventually became roommates. Garrett was the one that knew everybody and knew what was going on and when making it really easy to just tag along for the ride. We've shut down plenty of bars together over the years as well as taken some pretty fun trips (once again all planned by Garrett). It's always great catching up and now we still take great trips, just get to bring our spouses along too, the more the merrier!
Devon Whittier
Devon Whittier - Officiant
Although he may have been my friend first, Devon now has the special privilege of being Chloe's friend too, and now he has plenty of experience as our third wheel. If you ever need a song recommendation or a concert buddy, Devon is your guy (that is if you happen to catch him on a weekend when he's not traveling)
