Anthony's POV:
I was working for a valet company that worked with multiple restaurants around Phoenix and one of them happened to be OHSO Brewery where Chloe was a hostess. I remember first seeing her and thought she was gorgeous. When I wasn't busy I would check to see if she was at the host stand so I could go talk with her. After that day there was a span of about 2 weeks where I didn't see her at work probably due to our schedules being off. I really wanted to see her again because I was leaving for Christmas break in a few weeks and then starting a 4 month internship in Santa Monica, CA. Fortunately our schedules aligned and we were working together once again. I'll never forget my valet coworker came up to me and said that the blonde hostess thinks you're cute. I asked him how he found that out, and he told me that she told her coworker, and she told him to tell me. With that clarity, I went right over to her and asked her if she had ever been ice skating. She said she hadn't in a long time, so I asked if she wanted to go with me and she said yes. Since it was Christmas time there was a beautiful ice skating rink in the center of downtown Phoenix. Ice skating ended up being our third date but the day of our first date I wanted to be unique. I lived in downtown at the time, and she hadn't been in a while so I planned to walk with her around the city and take her to some unique spots. A couple hours before the date I walked around all of downtown by myself to scope out some nice places to ensure that the night was perfect. I didn't want to just do a Netflix and chill date or take her to the movies where there's no talking. We had a great date being adventurous, laughing, finding out we had a lot in common, and there was never an awkward moment. At the end of the night I told her she was so beautiful and kissed her. There was something about her after that night that I thought was so special that I couldn't let go of. I told her that I wanted to see her again before I left for Christmas break and for my internship; we hung out almost every day leading up to my last day. On my last day in Arizona I wanted to spend it with her. She came out to visit me in Temecula a couple days after Christmas and that's when I asked her if she wanted to be my girlfriend. Fast forward almost 6 years later I'm marrying the most beautiful woman in the world.
Chloe's POV:
Anthony and I met in 2018 while I was hosting at OHSO brewery in Phoenix, and he was valeting. After we exchanged pleasantries for the first time there was something about him that stuck with me, and I wanted to get to know him better. I was nervous to make the first move, so I told my best friend/coworker. After a couple of weeks and a game of telephone unbeknownst to me, Anthony came up to me and asked me on a date after work. Our first date was in downtown Phoenix where he lived at the time, and it surpassed my expectations of what the date might look like. I found out later that he had spent an hour walking around downtown in 50 degree weather scoping out all of the spots he wanted to take me to- just so it would be perfect. We hit it off so well that we lost track of time and ended up talking half the night. I fell in love with his personality first, his love for God, his humor, the way we found similarities in every aspect that mattered, his wonderful family, and the way he made me feel when we were together. I know it sounds cliche, but within a few months, he went from a stranger to someone I couldn’t imagine life without. Even though he had moved to another state shortly after we met and putting up with the discontent of long distance was not easy, we knew we had something special enough to preserve. I guess we were right ;). Fast forward almost six years later and I'm marrying the most wonderful man in the world.
