For those that don’t know, we met through mutual friends at King’s College in Wilkes Barre, PA. It was the spring of our sophomore year when a party at Kendra's apartment gave Chris the first look at the rest of his life. Truth be told, there were only a few words exchanged between us that night after a Nerf dart flew from Chris' hand, across the room, and hit Kendra in the head. A memorable first impression. That exchange evolved into a few friendly hellos as we passed each other on campus over the next few weeks. Captivated by her bright smile and elegant glow, Chris asked a friend to put in a good word with Kendra. Keeping his distance and trying not to seem too eager, Chris sequentially had each of his friends add Kendra on Snapchat, asking her and her friends to hangout. Eventually, Kendra and her friends gave in, leading to the first opportunity for us to get to know each other. That night, as time passed, our friends slipped away, leaving the two of us to talk. Before long, as the conversation continued, the sun soon started to rise. Since that night, we never let the sun set on our relationship. A few short weeks later, while on a sunset hike, Chris decided to make it official and asked Kendra to be his girlfriend. Fast forward seven years, Chris finally popped the question while on vacation in Costa Rica.
