Our Story

How We Met

Chris and I met through my brother Joey, as they’re good friends. Chris was even one of my brother’s groomsmen at his wedding.

In April 2016, we traveled to Mexico for my brother and sister-in-law’s wedding, and that’s where it all began. We instantly hit it off, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that something special might come out of that vacation.

From our very first conversation, there was a spark, and we were both curious to see where it would lead. Now, nine years later, we’re planning our own wedding and bringing it back to Mexico—the place where it all started!

The Proposal

We had planned a group trip to Cuba for New Year’s, not realizing it would turn out to be the best trip of my life.

On New Year’s Eve, we were at the resort, enjoying each other’s company, sitting by a beautiful white Christmas tree adorned with pink LED lights. In front of us, a projector displayed the countdown to midnight.

As we counted down the final seconds, I turned to give Chris a kiss and wish him a Happy New Year—only to find him already down on one knee, asking me to marry him! Stunned, I asked if he was serious, and when he nodded yes, I immediately said, “Yes!”

It was an unforgettable moment, surrounded by love and filled with excitement for what lies ahead.

Today and Beyond

From adventures together to quiet nights in, every moment has brought us closer. We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our story with all of you—our closest friends and family—on our wedding day!
