Saturday

Saturday morning/early afternoon: free time to explore the island: check out pottery shops, local art, mountain bike, tennis, hike, beach time as weather permits.

3:30 pm – Guests arrive (if not already on site)

4:00 pm – Ceremony at Sea Breeze

4:45 pm – Group photo, followed by cocktail hour & appetizers

6:30 pm – Dinner & speeches

9:00 pm – First dance & father–daughter dance

9:30 pm – 12:00 am – Dance party!

11:00 – 1:00am – Designated driver available

Getting Home Saturday Night

There will be two Sea Breeze Staff as designated drivers to get everyone home safely to their accommodation on Hornby island. There is the option of a Sea Breeze staff to drive you and your vehicle home. Or you can leave your car at the venue to pick up the next day and a Sea Breeze staff member will drive you home. If you are considering biking or walking if you find accommodation close by, just know that there are no street lights and the road is not paved.

Sunday:

9:00 – 10:30 am – Farewell Brunch at Sea Breeze

11:00 am – Check-out

Q and A

Attire

Welcome Dinner (Friday): Dressy casual. Think polished but relaxed — something you’d feel good in for an island dinner with friends and family.

Wedding Day: Cocktail attire. To us, this means:

Dress pants, dress shirt, suit, or sport jacket

Cocktail or formal dress, skirt and blouse, or a fabulous jumpsuit

A couple notes:

The ceremony will be outdoors on grass — heels may sink, so flats, wedges, or a thicker heel are recommended.

Pack an umbrella just in case — though we’re hoping for sunshine!

Registry/Gifts

We do not have a registry at this time. We do not expect any gifts as we are asking people to travel and stay for a weekend to celebrate our wedding!

If you are feeling inclined, we are currently saving for our honeymoon (Japan or New Zealand). However, coming to Hornby and spending the weekend is gift enough!
