Aimée is Christiane’s middle sister - best friends since Christiane was almost 2 years old! Christiane and Aimée experienced everything together, laughing through life’s challenges. As the person who has known Christiane the longest, there couldn’t be a better choice to help make the Whelan Wedding spectacular!

Emilie is Christiane’s youngest sister. As former high school class president, cheerleader/cheer coach, and LSU freshman, Christiane and Jonathan couldn’t think of a better person to bring party vibes to wedding while also making sure their dreams come true! Geaux Tigers 💜💛

Ashley and Christiane started Ursuline in fifth grade and were best friends through high school. When it came time to go to LSU, it was a no brainer that Ashley and Christiane would be roommates. Such an amazing 4 years! At LSU, Ashley became close friends with Jonathan too. Both Jonathan and Christiane were in Ashley’s wedding party and couldn’t imagine their wedding without her!

Knowing each other since kindergarten, Noah is one of Christiane’s oldest friends and her brother at heart. Noah also went to high school with Jonathan at Jesuit. Christiane met Jonathan and most of the groomsmen in high school through Noah.

Renee and Christiane first met on Metairie Country Club’s swim team in middle school and hit it off instantly! They continued to swim together throughout middle school and high school at Ursuline. As the big sister Christiane never had, Renee showed Christiane the ropes when she started both Ursuline and LSU, and they eventually became college neighbors. Now, they both live in Texas. Yeehaw!

After grad school, Sarah and Christiane immediately bonded over being the two new girls on the trading analytics team and grew super close. Moving to Texas during the pandemic, Sarah was Christiane’s first Texas friend. Since the two are inseparable, Jonathan also became good friends with Sarah.

Live from the Knot: it’s Chris n Soph 💗 Sophia and Christiane became best friends in LSU’s MBA program. They played intramural sports together, both specialized in data analytics, and studied abroad in China as roomies. While at LSU, Jonathan also became good friends with Soph. Post LSU, Sophia and Christiane are both living in Texas and love hanging out - especially with their dogs Kenobi and Lilis!

Taylor and Christiane met junior year of high school, and Taylor instantly became a Petitbon family brother. Together they had many adventures like yearly beach trips, multiple musical festivals, and many parties to name a few. Additionally, Taylor’s been brothers with Jonathan since kindergarten. It wouldn’t be their wedding without him.

Matthew is Jonathan’s older brother and Jonathan’s best friend since childhood. Matt taught Jonathan everything he knows - especially how to cut a rug. Jonathan wouldn’t be the man he is today without Matt.

Chris is Jonathan’s oldest brother. Chris inspired Jonathan’s love for traveling with his wanderlust. It wouldn’t be a Whelan wedding without one of Chris’ famous speeches!

Albert is Jonathan’s cousin and practically an older brother. The two did everything growing up together - sports, school during Katrina, and LSU to name a few. Albert was Jonathan’s right hand man in proposing to Christiane.

Glenn and Jonathan played baseball and soccer at Lakeshore together as kids. They did everything together from cross country at Jesuit to engineering at LSU.

Jonathan became friends with John at Jesuit. They lived together at LSU, where he also hung out with Christiane. John always lights up a party, making him the perfect addition to the groom gang….He’s also a master on the sax.

Peyton is Jonathan’s friend from Jesuit. They enjoy competing in football, arm wrestling, and eating. After attending LSU together, they both moved to Houston and continue pushing each other past their limits.

Ryan and Jonathan ran cross country and track together at Jesuit and have been friends ever since. They shared a unique bond as the “dumb kids” in English class. Ryan and Jonathan roomed together at LSU, where Ryan taught Jonathan all about raising a puppy. Ryan has also been friends with Christiane since eighth grade.

Who dat! Jonathan and Sam are avid Saints fans. They’ve been competing for years over who yells at the game loudest. Sam and Jonathan met in high school, roomed in college, and currently work together. Sam always brags he knew Christiane before Jonathan did.

Staring LSU together in the College of Engineering residential college, Chris was Christiane’s first new college friend. Over many tailgates, parties, and a crazy Calculus 2 Honors class, they became best friends for life. Now, Chris also lives in Houston and loves hanging out with Jonathan, Christiane, and Lilis!
