All wedding events over the weekend will take place at the Sun Mountain Lodge which is the recommended hotel for guests. For those planning to stay at the lodge, use the website link below, the discount code has already been applied. Room Types: The main lodge's rooms are standard size. Mt. Gardner and Mt. Robinson are the larger suite rooms within walking distance of the main lodge. For larger groups, we recommend the Patterson Cabins just down the road on Lake Patterson which vary in room size. If you do not see the room or cabin you need, please call the hotel for information on availability.

Make yourself at home in one of the 17 individually decorated guestrooms, featuring refrigerators and microwaves. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Bathrooms with shower/tub combinations are provided. Conveniences include coffee/tea makers, housekeeping is provided on request, and rollaway/extra beds (surcharge) can be requested.

River Run Inn

This hotel and several others in Winthrop are more cost-effective options that are only a 15-minute drive from our wedding venue. When booking one of these hotels online, you may see that they're sold out during our wedding weekend. Don't worry, they're not. You need to call them directly to book your room. Summer rates aren't available online.

Be the first to experience Sun Mountain Lodge's newly resurfaced tennis and pickleball court featuring a basketball hoop as well. Bring your own gear or get everything you need from the Adventures Shop to get your game on!

Experience the serenity of lounging poolside with a good book or your favorite beverage, or enjoy a soothing respite in one of our two year-round hot tubs. The Sun Mountain pools are heated and nestled into a bluff, facing spectacular views of wilderness peaks and valleys of the North Cascades.

Pool & Hot Tub

The Sun Mountain Trails are a vast and dynamic network that radiates out from Sun Mountain Lodge located in the hills west of the town of Winthrop. Some trails are solely on the private property owned and managed by the lodge, while others extend out into the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Trails can be accessed directly from the lodge or from the Chickadee Trailhead in the national forest. Check with the Adventures Shop for the best routes.

Hiking

Horseback riding at Sun Mountain Lodge is an enchanting journey through the Cascade Mountains. Guided by experienced wranglers, riders traverse scenic trails, surrounded by lush forests and wildflower-filled meadows.

The knowledgeable Adventures staff at the SunMountain Lodge has maps and trail riding suggestions for all abilities, from beginner to expert. The expansive trail system at Sun Mountain Lodge alone offers over 40 miles of single and double-track trails with great views of the Methow Valley and North Cascade Mountains. Beginners can pedal the nearly level scenic loop around Beaver Pond, while experts will be thrilled by the twisting and turning drops of Pete’s Dragon or Magpie. Whatever your ability, Sun Mountain Lodge has a mountain biking trail for you. Mountain bike rentals will be available in late spring once the snow is gone—probably around the first of May. Finely tuned front suspension bikes by Giant are available for rent by the hour or day.&nbsp;Due to high demand and limited inventory, reservations are highly recommended.
