We’re building a life together rooted in love and support of each other, feeling grateful that we found our person. Here is “our story” highlighting some milestones each year.

2018:

"At a music festival in Detroit" isn't typically what people are expecting to hear when they ask us how we met. But it's the truth! We had an instant connection at Movement (techno festival) in Detroit, bonding over not only techno, but also dogs and Game of Thrones. Zach promised he’d take me out in the city when we got back home (Long Island for him; Jersey for me). The next weekend, we went to Italian restaurant Gigino at Wagner Park (sadly now closed) on our first date and knew we had something special.

2019:

Living respectively in Long Island and New Jersey meant being intentional about spending time with each other. Zach would come to visit almost every weekend.

2020:

We moved in together to our little Long Beach apartment in the summer of 2020. It was especially nice to be together after being apart due to the pandemic that year.

2021:

We got our dog, the light of our lives, Olive. Both of us wanted a dog since we were kids. And we were lucky enough to get the sweetest and bestest girl ever.

2022:

We went on one of our first vacations together to Disney. I was reluctant to go! But I was pleasantly surprised with how much fun we had. Later that year we also went to Sicily with Zach’s family, which was incredible.

2023:

We loved our trip to Barcelona and Ibiza this summer, enjoying the amazing food, architecture and music. Two months after that, Zach proposed in our apartment. He attached a pink ring box to Olive’s collar that he pointed out to me before getting down on one knee. I said yes! (Obviously) Then was SHOCKED as we arrived at Big Daddy's for a "brunch with his parents" which actually turned out to be a surprise engagement party surrounded with so much love from family and friends.

2024:

We moved to our apartment in Bay Shore. We’ll be here until we get a house hopefully one day soon.

2025:

OUR YEAR!! We can’t wait to celebrate with you.
