Christina and Dan met in 2012 when Christina started her first job after law school as a judicial law clerk for Judge Martin in Baltimore County Circuit Court, a position which Dan had held for the previous year. For two weeks we got to know each other while the exiting law clerk, Dan, showed the ropes to the incoming law clerk, Christina. On Dan's last day at work, instead of just heading home, we spent about two hours sitting on one of the benches in front of the beautiful Old Courthouse. This is the place where we got engaged four years later.

Dan, his siblings, and their Stringer cousins were inspired as kids by the classic fable, Billy Madison, and adopted the famous O'Doyle family proclamation as their own family motto. People have been telling Christina that she "ruhls" in various forms for the last 30 years, so the combination of O'Stringer Ruhls seemed fitting!
