Flying Dog Brewery's tasting room is open Wednesday through Friday 3-8 pm, Saturdays 12-8 pm and Sundays 12-6 pm. Tours of the brewery are available by appointment.

Sugarloaf Mountain offers beautiful trail options for hikers of all ability levels. You can do a multi-mile loop or simply drive right on up to one of Sugarloaf's beautiful overlooks. P.S. you can see Sugarloaf Mountain from Glen Ellen Farm!

To get there from Frederick, follow Route I-270 South to the Hyattstown exit, follow Route 109 to Comus, then right on Comus Road to the Sugarloaf Mountain entrance.

Catoctin Mountain offers a range of light to challenging hikes. You can hike one of the many loops or drive right up to Cunningham Falls for a beautiful view of an impressive waterfall. If you're taking a hike, make sure to check out the overlook at Chimney Rock! You can hike to Cunningham Falls by taking an easy trail which starts at the Visitor Center.

To get to the Visitor Center from Frederick, plug 14707 Park Central Road, Thurmont, MD, into your GPS, or take Route 15 North to Thurmont, MD. Take Route 77 West (the exit sign says Catoctin Mountain Park). Travel approximately 3 miles west on 77 and turn right onto Park Central Road. The Visitor Center is on the right.
