Throughout college, they made the long(ish) distance work from Queens to Ewing, NJ. They saw each other every weekend they could while at school, and spent every day together while at home on breaks. Once Chrissy moved back to Westwood after finishing TCNJ in May of 2019, Mike decided to finish his last semester at St. John's as a commuter so that he could spend more time with her while living in Park Ridge.

Chrissy and Mike finished up post-grad school while living at home with their parents - luckily, only 10 minutes away from each other.

Mike and Chrissy continued to work and live in NJ while saving up money to move out together. Much time was spent with Jerry, Ollie, and Skippy (also with their loving human families and friends).

Chrissy and Mike finally moved in together! They were so happy to be able to see each other every day. To make this step even bigger, they decided to move over 1,800 miles away from the place they called home for 26 years. Mike fell in love with Colorado when he visited in 2022. Chrissy knew she would go anywhere with Mike, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions they both made.

Mike and Chrissy explored their new home in Colorado. They saw things and places they never could have imagined, including 3/4 of its National Parks (pt. 4 hopefully coming soon!) and Red Rocks (coolest concert venue ever, check it out if you have time!). They both stepped outside of their comfort zones and tried new things. Mike started a band (shoutout to The Ridge - check them out on Spotify) and Chrissy became his #1 fan. Chrissy joined a game league and Mike was also her #1 fan. They both made friends and memories to last a lifetime.

While they both found fulfillment in their new Colorado adventure, the best part was coming home and laughing with each other every night (Chrissy says that Mike is the funniest person she's ever met).
