Try hiking, kayaking, or paddle boarding at Horsetooth Reservoir! Located in the foothills just west of the city of Fort Collins, Colorado, this is one of Chrissy and Mike's favorite outdoor spots.
Odell's is a fun local brewery with both beer and wine. With a large open grass space, outdoor games, live music, and an awesome food truck rotation, it's a really fun spot. It's also walking distance to some other cool breweries - New Belgium and Breckenridge. All are family friendly!
Try the natural lazy river that goes through Fort Collins! When the Rocky Mountain snow melts, some of it makes its way to the Poudre river, which turns it into a slow moving ride that is fun (and free) to float down. You can park at the Shield's Street River Access lot and get right in. If you don't want to walk a mile back to your car, we recommend having one group park at Shield's Street and another at the bottom of the river at Lee Martinez Park. If you just have one car, park at Lee Martinez Park and walk up. You will definitely want to get river tubes (can be found downtown or on Amazon), regular tubes will pop! The water is pretty calm and shallow, so it's kid friendly. Text Chrissy and Mike with any questions (or to invite them to join, it's one of their favorite things to do!).
