• Beers at Wandering Leaf in St. Paul. Beautiful and bright plant-filled taproom close to all the wedding festivities.

• Dinner and drinks at Holman's Table in St. Paul. Original art deco airport terminal turned restaurant right on the tarmac at the St. Paul Downtown Airport! Get the mushroom toast.

• Friday night fish fries at Church of St. John Vianney in South St. Paul. A folksy taste of 'up north' only 10 minutes from downtown St. Paul.

• Waldmann Brewery in St. Paul. A restored 1850's classic German brewery serving some of the best beer you'll find in the Twin Cities. Come back and visit for Oktoberfest, too!

• Stepchld in Northeast Minneapolis. Be warned, there's no going back to regular burgers after you've had a Cooper Burger.

• Dinner at Jax Cafe. A favorite of ours when we're feeling fancy and classy and need to celebrate something.

• Fireside in West St. Paul. Our favorite neighborhood dive that time forgot where everybody knows your name (with Happy Hour prices from yesteryear, too).

• Kura Sushi at the Mall of America. Authentic Japanese conveyor belt sushi in Bloomington, who knew?

• Degidio's in St. Paul. The best Italian in the Twin Cities and very close to all the wedding weekend action. Caprese Salad and Tortellini Bolognese are some of our faves. (Honorable mention: Bad Weather Brewing across the street!)

• Anchor Fish & Chips in Northeast Minneapolis. We've had our fare share of fish & chips both in Ireland and Great Britain but in our opinion, Anchor tops them all. Sláinte!
