Hi! Welcome to our story. We are two emergency doctors, one from the west coast and one from the east coast. We initially met in New Jersey. We moved to Chicago where we lived together for the first time. We recently moved back to NJ and are currently planning the next chapter in our lives. We love to travel, cook, go to restaurants, drink wine/coffee/tea, enjoy the local symphony, work out, and be BAFERD's (Google it). If you're on this page, it's because you are invited to our wedding. This is our great privilege and we cannot wait to celebrate with you!

We met in January 2018 in Morristown, New Jersey at a restaurant and bar called Revolution. Dan was a first year medical student, Chris a second year emergency medicine resident. Ever the skier and always on time, Chris came directly from the slopes, electing ski pants and jacket for the first date over jeans and tardiness. Dan found this charming and a budding romance was born.

Fun fact: we dated for a few months in early 2018, but then didn't see each other for almost a year! We reconnected in February 2019 at another bar in Morristown, called End of Elm and have been together ever since.

Chris graduated from residency in June 2019 and Dan passed onto the clinical phase of medical school. This represented the "next phase" of our relationship as well, as we would mutually support each other through the good and bad times. Chris worked long hours and was away from home for extended stretches, particularly during covid. At one time, due to travel restrictions and exposure, we didn't see each other, except for virtually, for over a month! This of course made the time we had together even richer.

Dan found out in March 2021 that he had matched into emergency medicine in Chicago. Sensing the chance at a lifetime together, Chris popped the question (well, not that question) and asked Dan if he envisioned them together. Dan said yes. Soon after, we moved into our first apartment together in Chicago.

We were engaged in June 2022 in San Francisco, on a stairwell in Telegraph Hill that faces the Financial District, one block away from where Dan first lived when he moved to SF. We were surrounded by our parents, friends, and really good weather.
