Our Story

During the midst of a global pandemic, a love story was born. On September 7, 2020, a simple dating app named “Hinge”, had brought both Chris Edmunds and Laurah Duff into each other's lives. A simple movie date turned into dinner and that dinner turned into a planned second date.
As the months went by, Chris and Laurah would constantly text each other everyday, and drive the 45 minute commute to each other’s houses. They enjoyed going on adventures together. Some of the adventures they have embarked on are: baseball games, new restaurants, the beach caverns, mountain hikes, comedy shows, Broadway Musicals, and traveling to numerous states. Their favorite to date is most definitely, when they visited Laurah’s hometown in the summer of 2021, Chris was awestruck by the wonders that the state of Colorado had to offer.

The Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens had their annual Christmas Light Show where Chris had planned to propose to Laurah. A simple photo in front of the Christmas tree turned into Chris getting on one knee and the two beginning their forever love story.
