Q + A

Do I need a Passport?

From the Royal Caribbean Website: Everyone will need to present an accepted form of identification to board the ship. We strongly recommend that all guests present a passport as their form of ID on boarding day. The passport must be valid for six months after the day your cruise ends. The name on your passport should match the name on your reservation. While some other forms of ID may be accepted for your cruise, a passport is the very best option and here’s why: A passport is the hassle-free, gold standard for traveling between countries. Boarding and disembarking through customs with a passport is usually faster than other types of ID documents. If you have an issue while exploring a foreign port (such as missing the ship), it’s best to have a passport with you. Guests who do not bring required documents may be denied boarding.

Attire for Cruise and Wedding?

Wedding Attire: Chris and Laurah are asking guests to dress in Semi-Formal attire.

Cruise Attire: Please treat this cruise as a vacation, dress accordingly. Excursions that you choose might include their own dress code.

From Royal Caribbean Website:

ONBOARD THE SHIP:

When you’re onboard, the right look will vary by venue. But here are a few types of suggested attire you’ll see, grouped by item.

Casual: You’re on vacation – relax! Jeans, polos, sundresses and blouses are all the right amount of laid back. Please keep swimwear to the Pool Deck. Shorts are welcome for breakfast and lunch.

Smart Casual: Think of this as a step up from your typical dinner wear. Dress to impress with collared shirts, dresses, skirts and blouses, or pantsuits. Jackets, sports coats and blazers are snazzy and welcome.

Formal: Make it a night out in your best black-tie look – suits and ties, tuxedos, cocktail dresses or evening gowns. There can be 1-3 formal nights during a sailing and is at the ship’s discretion.

Formal nights

Think of our formal dress code as a night out in your best black-tie look — suits and ties, tuxedos, cocktail dresses or evening gowns are all acceptable options. There will be 2 formal nights during a sailing. Our Chef’s Table dining experience also enforces a formal dress code policy.

Main Dining Room/Specialty Dining Venues

Bare feet are not allowed at any time in any venue and tank tops are not permitted in the Main Dining Room or Specialty Dining venues for dinner.

Casino Dress Code

Shirt and shoes are always required. Cover-ups should be worn over bathing attire.

How to choose a Dinner Dining Time?

When booking your cruise, you are able to choose a dining time for a scheduled dinner. Chris and Laurah have chosen the 8pm dining time, but feel free to choose any time that you wish to attend.

Are Children Allowed?

Yes, we welcome children to our wedding. When booking your cruise be aware that Royal Caribbean often runs specials where Kids cruise for free!
