Highly recommended flying into Bellingham if you want to avoid Seattle traffic! It does cost a little bit more to do so but so worth it. It cuts down a 2 hour drive (without traffic) to a 20 minute flight and you’re right where you need to be!

There’s also car rental services available as well (AVIS, Enterprise, Hertz’s)

This Airport is great to fly into if you’re looking to explore Seattle/ Mt. Rainier while you’re here or to catch a connecting flight into Bellingham through Alaska Airlines!

I have flown in and out of here for some time and it’s not too hard to navigate through! If you decide to fly into Seattle and drive they have multiple rental car options!

Alaska Airlines and Southwest Airlines are two airlines that I have always used flying back and forth from home. There are other airlines as well like Delta and American Airlines you can check out too!

I do particularly enjoy flying with Alaska as they have non-stop flights from Indianapolis and Nashville to Seattle. It also makes for jumping on the flight to Bellingham through Alaska super easy!

I have personally never flown in or out of this airport but I have friends who have. Located in Vancouver Canada it’s another fun City to Explore!

Pros: Only a 45 minute drive from the airport to where we live in Ferndale. Have multiple car rental companies to choose from!

Cons: You will need a passport, will have to go through customs, and then boarder patrol when entering the US.

Another good Airline!

Only downside I have had traveling with Southwest is not having the option for non-stop flights. I have usually had to have a layover (long layover) and they usually were in either Denver or Las Vegas. Just makes for a long day of traveling.
