Outside in Emily's Parent's Backyard! There will be a tent in case of rain :)

The Midwest Mystery ;) At the end of August, you can expect 80-90 degree weather. It is humid this time of year. It tends to be dry, but rain can be possible. You can expect to hear some nice summer bug noises and maybe even see fireflies!

Garden Party Attire, no denim. Being outdoors in hot and humid weather, we want you be comfortable. But it's important to remember that you are attending a wedding, after all, so please dress nicer than a stained t-shirt and jeans ;) You can never go wrong with a navy blazer, a blue button-down shirt, or khaki pants. For a versatile and stylish option, consider a sundress, a high-low dress, or a jumpsuit.

We understand that clarity is important when it comes to guest invitations. Rest assured, we will make it explicitly clear on your formal invitation whether a 'plus one' is included. As our event is being hosted in a backyard setting with limited space, not everyone will have the opportunity to bring a guest. We apologize for any confusion that may have arisen from our initial save the dates, but please know that your invitation will specify whether you are allotted a 'plus one.' We will have a shuttle provided from the Drury Inn to Emily's parent's house. We recommend this option as parking is limited and there are a lot of confusing, rural, winding roads to get to the house.

The following items will be served at the wedding: • Appetizers: Burnt End Toasted Ravioli, Dry Rub Smoked Wings, Bacon Wrapped Meatballs • Main Courses: Prime Brisket, BBQ Ribs, Pulled Pork • Sides: Green Bean and Tomato Salad, Pit Beans with Bacon, White Cheddar Cracker Mac • Desserts: Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies and Wedding Cake by Emily's Dad.
