Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
We have a strict guest list to stick to our budget - attending the wedding is by RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed under your party on the online RSVP platform.
Are kids allowed?
While we love your little ones, this will be an adults only celebration! We hope that you take this opportunity to treat our wedding day as a night to relax and enjoy. We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us.
When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Please RSVP by August 1st, 2024 on the online platform
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
We’d love to see our family and friends all dressed up with us, aka semi-formal attire.
Ladies can wear a knee-length cocktail dress, a midi dress, or a dressy jumpsuit. Please refrain from wearing white, bridal-like dresses and bright red.
Fellas can wear a suit or dress shirt, dinner jacket and dress pants. Please no jeans!
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at the venue by 2:30pm to have plenty of time to park and find a seat at the ceremony, which will begin at 3pm sharp.
Will the ceremony and reception be held indoor or outdoors?
Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors - be sure to bring a light jacket or sweater for a cool, Fall day! The reception will be held inside of the barn.
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
We respectfully request that guests do not take photographs during the ceremony as professional pictures will be taken. However, we encourage our friends and family to take pictures afterwards and post on their social media channels. Please use the hashtag #prescottwedding so we can keep track of them!
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the barn and adjacent patio, where we will be serving passed hours d’oeuvres and beverages during a cocktail hour. Following the cocktail hour will be the reception that will include dinner, cake, dancing, and other fun festivities.
I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What is the best way to let you know?
When you RSVP in the portal there will be a spot to note any food allergies or restrictions.
Can I bring my own adult beverages?
We will be supplying alcohol and have a bartending service who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring outside alcohol onto the premises.
Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
A public room block is not available unfortunately. However, the bride and groom as well as the rest of the wedding party will be staying at the Courtyard Worcester. Please see the “travel” page on our website for a link to this hotel - we’d love to have you stay near us! There are also a few other options on that page that are close by.
Do you have a wedding registry?
Your presence at our wedding is gift enough but should you wish to bring one, our registry is located on our website.
What's the best way to contact you if I have additional questions?
Please feel free to reach out to our wedding email if you have any questions - chrisandjennaprescott@yahoo.com. There is also a spot to ask questions when you RSVP.
