- Thurs evening – Live at Lakeview – Every summer South Lake Tahoe puts up a stage on the beach at Lakeview commons. Every Wed they host free concerts with different types of music, local vendors, food trucks, and a beer garden. There’s Amphitheater seating and dancing on the beach. It’s always a good time. It starts around 430 and goes till just after sunset. We’re planning on doing our rehearsal early so we can enjoy some of it and thought it would be a fun way to meet up with anyone who wanted to check it out. We’d love to see you there.
Beaches & Relaxation – Soak up the sun at Sand Harbor(pd reservation required), Pope Beach(free/pd), Kiva Beach(free), Nevada Beach(free/pd), Round Hill (snack shack, bar, Pd) or Zephyr Cove(resturant, Bar, volleyball, pd). Boating & Water Activities – Rent a boat, kayak, or paddleboard to explore Emerald Bay, Sand Harbor, and Tahoe’s crystal-clear waters around any of the areas beaches. For thrill-seekers, try wakeboarding, wakesurfing, parasailing, or jet skiing. (Yes. That is Chris in the photo)
A fun twist to renting your traditional kayaks are the see through kayaks rented by Clearly Tahoe at any of they're various locations around the lake.
We also have a few paddleboards that we'll bring out for anyone who would like to use them.
Hiking & Scenic Views – Trek iconic trails like Eagle Lake trail (1.8 mile 430 ft elevation), (Trail head is at Emerald bay so it's easy to combine with a visit to see the bay), Mount Tallac (10 miles 3,300 ft elevation gain), (where we got engaged), or the PCT around Echo Lakes or out to Lake Aloha (13 miles 1850 elevation),(one of our favorites), (water ferry available till 5pm to cut out part of the hike 2.5 miles each way) for breathtaking lake and mountain views. For an easier option, take the Gondola up Heavenly Mountain for panoramic sights.

Falls are on the right, right off the road. Continue past the falls out 1/2 mile to Lilly Lake a pretty alpine lake for a nice bonus. We'll check the water level the week before everyone comes out.
An fun and easy way to get out on the water. The cruise leaves from Zephyr Cove going across the lake to Emerald Bay and back. Snacks and bar available. 2hr cruise or 3hr sunset dinner cruise available.
