Kenzie has been best friends with the bride since junior high school. They have too many inside jokes, and often find themselves laughing until they cry.

Kyle met the groom in kindergarten, and now 27 years later they are a formidable force when paired in any trivia competition. There isn't much they haven't seen together, and not many in the room know the groom better.

Another best friend of the bride, Megan has been keeping the bride entertained since they met at Iowa State University. They lived together for 3 years, singing all the Disney songs, much to the enjoyment of their neighbors.

Millman and Meyer have been close friends ever since high school. Confusing others with the same first name, these two have gotten into all sorts of trouble over the years.

Also best friends with the bride since they met at Iowa State University, Koryne shares the bride's obsession with crafting. They have a mutual agreement that having so many craft supplies is not a problem until the craft room is overflowing.

It didn't take long for Dave to annex himself into the friend group through marriage and become fast friends with the groom. Even a state away, these two can be heard yelling at their TVs on game night.

Sister of the groom, Morgan has created a fast bond with the bride. They have a mutual infatuation of cat videos and making fun of the groom. Ciara couldn't be more excited to have a new sister in April.

Dale and Andrew met  while throwing heavy things on the track and field team at Coe College. Going from strangers to teammates, friends, then roommates these two were always together.

The bride's newest sister, Meridith was the perfect addition to the McCarty fam after marrying Ciara's brother in 2017.  She is fun-loving and caring and can usually be found with the bride laughing at countless family gatherings.

The brother of the bride, Alex is the new brother the groom never had (sorry, Morgan). Alex and Andrew have a mutual infatuation with all things athletic, bonding over their competitive natures and obscure sport facts.

Brooke is newest to the bride's crew, first meeting in PA school. They became fast friends through stressing...well studying...for countless exams and bonding over their shared love of medicine and margaritas.

Chris and Andrew met in high school playing football together and have been friends ever since. Today football still brings them together, although its usually from the stands in Ames.

Katie and Ciara found themselves in multiple classes and organizations together during their time as Kin majors at Iowa State. They grew close with each year at ISU, even bringing "Bike Camp" to Ames for two years!

Kevin has been friends with the groom from a very young age as well. Kyle, Kevin, and Andrew met in elementary school and can still be found frustrating the adults.

The bride and Sam became close in PA school. Stressing over exams and clinicals provided the perfect environment for them to become fast friends!

Matt met the groom in high school through Chris, and quickly realized they jived pretty well. So well there was even a stint where they were roommates in Ames.

Josh is another friend of the groom from high school, but after undergraduate studies they took their relationship to the next level and moved in together. Both would move west from there with Josh in Colorado and Andrew in Omaha.

The year was 2014. Ciara was starting her senior year at Iowa State and Andrew was beginning graduate school. One Saturday night in November they were both out avoiding studying and happened to run into one another. Both having been known to cut a rug, it makes perfect sense that their paths would cross on a country bar dance floor. They have been boot scootin' together ever since.

Where they've been...

Spending their first 3 years together in Ames, Andrew finished up graduate school while Ciara was preparing to start her graduate program. After many prerequisites and applications, Ciara was accepted to the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Andrew quickly began looking for a place in Omaha to start his career and they both moved to Nebraska shortly after Iowa State's graduation ceremony. Now school's out for both of them and they continue to work and play in the Omaha area.

Where are they now...

Andrew&nbsp;had&nbsp;been&nbsp;planning&nbsp;his&nbsp;proposal&nbsp;for&nbsp;months:&nbsp;the&nbsp;place,&nbsp;the&nbsp;timing,&nbsp;the&nbsp;speech.&nbsp;And&nbsp;then&nbsp;a&nbsp;global&nbsp;pandemic&nbsp;happened.&nbsp;A&nbsp;few&nbsp;adjustments&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;plan&nbsp;led&nbsp;Andrew&nbsp;and&nbsp;Ciara&nbsp;to&nbsp;their&nbsp;favorite&nbsp;place,&nbsp;Iowa&nbsp;State&nbsp;University,&nbsp;where&nbsp;he&nbsp;asked,&nbsp;and&nbsp;she&nbsp;said&nbsp;yes!
