Walk The City Walls
It is around 35 euros per person, however, we would suggest you get a Dubrovnik Pass. The cost for a 3 day pass is 33 euro, or 55 euro for a week. This includes free bus passes, city walls, dubrovnik national history museum and many more sights. It is definitely worth it!
When walking the city walls, you will see once in a lifetime panoramic views of the city as well as the Adriatic Sea. Please note that there are a lot of stairs and it can be quite warm in August. It is best to walk the wall early morning or late afternoon. You will find the website for the Dubrovnik pass below.
Kayak
The tiny island of Lokrum is a 10-minute boat ride from Dubrovnik's old harbour. But a more memorable way to visit it is by joining a sea kayaking tour, departing from a small beach near Pile Gate. You'll paddle around Dubrovnik's fortifications, then head to Lokrum to swim, snorkel, hike and cliff jump.
Cable Car
Taking a ride on the cable car is a must-do if you want an aerial view over Dubrovnik. The views of the city and the Adriatic Coast are spectacular from up here. Tickets are €25 for a two way trip.
Visit Lokrum Island
Lokrum is the most beautiful island, just a 10-minute ferry from Dubrovnik Old Town. The journey over there is one of the most stunning across crystal clear waters and the whole island is a nature reserve. Boats depart on the hour from 10am to 5pm, 7 days a week. You can buy ferry tickets from the ticket booth marked “Lokrum Ferry” as you enter the port from the Old Town. The booth opens at 8:30 am. Tickets cost around 27 euros per person. We have listed a few reasons why you should visit Lokrum Island.
1. The most beautiful views.
2. There are peacocks around the island.
3. You can sit and take a picture of the GOT throne.
4. Visit the monastery.
5. Swim in the Lokrum Dead Sea.
6. Beautiful beaches
We highly recommend everyone to bring snorkels and water shoes (you may find sea urchins!) whenever you are going into the sea anywhere in Croatia. The crystal clear waters are amazing, you wouldn't want to miss it!
