We prefer 15 minutes to whichever event you are attending (1pm for ceremony; 4pm for reception). However, we know there will be a lot of people traveling from out of state (and airlines are always up in the air) so as long as you are respectful, fashionably late is fine.
Where do I park?
Both localities have plenty of free parking.
Can I take pictures/video during the wedding?
This is why we put a deposit on a wedding photographer! Please make our ceremony a device-less wedding by silencing your phones and not taking photos/videos during the ceremony. You will have an opportunity to take pictures during the reception.
What is the dress code?
We like semi-formal dress, especially for the reception. Since the ceremony will take place outside, polos, keens, and fun dresses will be acceptable. We're not the fashion police.
Will the ceremony/reception be indoor or outdoor?
The ceremony will be held at a covered outdoor pavilion (feel free to snap pictures of the beautiful scenery around the area, just please don't get in the way of our photographer). If you get cold/don't like rain, bring appropriate gear. The Reception will be an indoor venue.
What type of food & drink will be served at reception?
There will not be a full cocktail hour but the reception will have a full plated dinner including entrees, sides, and dessert (the wedding cake). Please consider having a snack between ceremony and reception if you tend to have blood sugar attacks.
Will alcohol be served?
There will be a cash bar, please drink responsibly.
Can I bring my gift to the wedding?
Your presence is a gift enough but if you are so inclined, there will be a gift table at the reception.
Which is the best way to RSVP?
We prefer an online RSVP but we'll also take a returned mailed RSVP.
How will I learn of any updates?
We will be posting important updates on the website as well as sending updates via email and text, if requested.
