There are many hotels nearby, if those doesn't strike your fancy, please see below as some guests are also staying at Tar Heel Motel. Also, if you'd like to rent a house, you can rent houses by the day at VRBO, or by the week on websites such as Airbnb, Surf or Sound Realty, or Village Realty OBX.

The closest airport is Norfolk International Airport, it's an hour and a half drive down south.

If you'd like to take some time to explore our nation's Capital, the drive from Washington DC is around 5 hours from Dulles International Airport or Reagan International Airport.

If you'd like a shorter drive, but still want to see some history, you can fly into Richmond International Airport and stop by Williamsburg, Virginia; that'll take you about 3 hours.

Another option for a 3 hour drive is a flight into Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
