Let's get this business out of the way first. We don't have many rules for the weekend, but there are a few we all need to abide by in order to avoid big fines for your hosts, Claire and Julian. 1. Absolutely no smoking! The property manager has warned us that no smoking of any kind (tobacco products, marijuana, or vaping) is allowed onsite. 2. All trash must be picked up from the ground, tables, etc. Outside of our catered reception dinner, we will rely on all of you to help us clean up after ourselves especially on Friday night and Sunday morning. 3. For guests staying onsite, please be respectful of the cabins and follow the check out protocols that will be provided to you for your specific cabin on Sunday morning. 4. Have fun and don't be shy about making new friends! We are bringing all of our favorite people together for our wedding and are so excited for an epic weekend with all of you.

In order to maximum the number of people who can stay at Fern River with us, all cabins will be shared with other wedding guests, and we cannot guarantee any private cabins (or private bedrooms) to individual guests. When deciding cabin arrangements, we will prioritize families, close friends, and couples sharing cabins. We understand that this may not work for all guests and ask you to let us know in your RVSP if you would prefer to find your own accommodations for the weekend, so we can plan accordingly.

$200 total ($100 per night) per adult for the whole weekend (Friday 4/4 through Sunday 4/6)

Payments will be made directly to Claire through Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal. Guests should have received messages from Julian or Claire with payment details at the beginning of February. Please reach out to Julian or Claire if you did not receive these details or have any questions about payment. All payments are due by March 1st to secure your onsite accommodations.

Yes! All the wedding festivities will take place at Fern River Resort.

Parking is available but limited, so we encourage guests to carpool as much as possible, especially guests who will be sharing cabins.

Since everything will be in one place, we're hoping to arrange for our guests who are flying in to get picked up from the airport and not need rental cars. Please specify in the RVSP questions if you will need a ride from the airport.

The venue is ours starting bright and early Friday morning, so feel free to come anytime that day (4/4/25). As for Sunday morning (4/6/25), all guests will need to be off the property by 10am, so please plan accordingly.

San Jose is the closest airport to the venue (45 min to 1 hour) and will be the easiest to coordinate getting our guests a ride from the airport. However, SFO is also an option (1 hour 15 min to 1 hour 45 min).

No need to wear a full suit, but please still wear a dress shirt and nice pants (no jeans and t-shirts). When choosing shoes, keep in mind that all the festivities will be taking place outside, so we suggest block heels, flats, wedges over stilettos. It can get quite cold at night in the Santa Cruz mountains, so please bring appropriate layers to stay warm.
