We decided on a Thursday night wedding to give us the opportunity to spend more time with our friends and family. Consider making this a long weekend for relaxation and celebrating.

Please note that the weekend after the wedding is Florida vs. Georgia Football game in Jacksonville (November 2nd).

Hotels and alternatives (AirBnB, VRBO, etc.) may book up faster in the Jacksonville area depending on how long you would like to be in town.

Alternatives would be to book in the St. Augustine area and travel in for the wedding or other activities depending on your wishes.

I would consider making accommodations near activities you would like to do for your time in the Jacksonville/ St. Augustine area.

If you choose to stay in the following areas your approximate travel time to the venue will be as follows (do not account for traffic):

Beaches (Jacksonville, Neptune, etc.)- around 45 minutes

Downtown Jacksonville (likely difficult to find hotel rooms due to the football game)- around 20-25 minutes

Riverside/ Avondale area- around 20-25 minutes

Town Center area- around 25-30 minutes

St. Augustine area- 50 minutes to an hour or more
